A Question for UK/European Based Modders

Guys -

I'm from the UK, with a boxed copy and I have ESPN!

Maybe it's because I told Origin to install under English(US) - maybe it was that easy to fool it!

Now to test this bad boy out!

To be honest, I'm not too sure as the first thing I did was implement the demo sliders that gave me such a difficulty level sweet spot. However, with the speed on 'normal', it felt a bit fast to me. Slow is perfect for me.

Edit: Do you think EA are likely to try and patch this out, given that ESPN have apparently requested (according to an EA admin) that ESPN be for NA only? If not, then I may as well post this on EA. Unless of course ESPN is in the game everywhere regardless.

You need to export and open your language ini, for example for German people german_de.ini, included in german_de.big and regenerate it with FHL BH Editor for example.

Insert this into the ini, apart from the region off course.


Now open your game and select English language and it will work. I still don't know why it only works in english language and not in German.

Installed the reg key. Then? And do the matchday features work after changing to ESPN integration?

Guys, forget editing those ini files, it's much easier. We just have to use the 8002 and following scoreboard files to have those ESPN graphics instead of the 2002 and following scoreboard files. It will work for all languages and matchday and everything is still possible.

If somebody needs a detailed explanation, just tell me but it's easy.

good job, its basically self explanatory on how to do it.

just export all the 8002 overlays, then rename it from 8002 to all other leagues overlay ids & regenerate.

Exactly, btw. there is a pre match wipe file for each of the ESPN leagues.

wipe_1_10039_container0.rx3
wipe_1_10013_container0.rx3
wipe_1_10053_container0.rx3

So just need to take one of them and rename it to wipe_1_container_0.rx3 and wipe_10_container_0.rx3, regenerating and the pre match animation will be there, too.
