My first season Hereford team battled their way to an FA Cup final berth but the season culminated in a heartbreaking loss (to Hull City!!) on penalties, courtesy of three bottom corner saves by the opposing keeper. After the match I received the messages I was expecting about training sessions I had scheduled in amongst the League Two playoffs but was then astonished/amused/aggravated to discover that an extra game had been scheduled for the day after the final - yet another replay that will not affect the final result:
Strangely (as you can see from the above image) the training sessions for the following week have disappeared even though the first of the playoff matches were slated for May 26th and have not been completed and all of those in June are still there:
Even more bizarrely, because the training sessions took place even though they were later than the newly scheduled 'replay' my team are now utterly exhausted (all have either 0% or 3% fitness):
Many of the bugs in the last few versions of FIFA you could just about argue might not have been found during testing but I fail to see how something as obvious as this (or the team experience bug) could have slipped through QA nor why EA Sports have abandoned their customers and not patched such obvious faults (the team experience fix requires a two byte change to the database and most of the cup replay issues can be resolved by switching the value of a single field in the two fixture entries - I know, because I've fixed the two issues in just that way)
