The armbands in Fifa07 are very different from those in Fifa 08, in fact they're only 8x8 pixels small, you can assign one to each team in Fifa07 but it looks like crap compared to 08

To convert commentary from 08 you have to use Sound Master 08, export the commentary you want and then import it in Fifa07 with Sound Master 07, you'll have to assign the commentary to the players yourself, and of course create the new players that appear in 08 in 07 yourself with Creation Master 07. Keep in mind that there is no commentary for keepers in 07, so importing the keeper commentary from 08 to 07 won't work and make your game crash even. Same things for some of the events in 08 that don't have references in 07 (team names for example)

To import gloves you need to do it manualy with file Master 07, keep them single textured or in some stadiums the game will crash, in Fifa07 there's only one pair of keeper gloves that every keeper will use, don't know in Fifa08.

Have you loaded a game that was saved before importing flags, adboards? If yes, you need to create a new profile in FIFA 07.
But, this may not be the problem. I'm not an expert in this, but I remember that if you play with some different size adboards and flags, on some stadiums, the game might crash.
I don't know what's happening. Hope you solve this problem soon!
Oh, and about the popups, I believe there is a tool made by MonkeyDragon. Search for it. It's a FIFA 07 version too.
