Dear Chau Le:

I've been a die hard fan of FIFA-series for about two years, and I think you'll be surprised at the first francises I played, FIFA 98 and World Cup 98! I'm really appealed to 98 series since its unbeatable play control and supreme AI (well, only the WC98). And I'd like to tell you another important thing is I've tried making some patches for these games since several months ago.

When it comes to FIFA game modification tools, I can't help but thank you so much dude. Because without the great capabilities Fed98 and WEd98 have, I wouldn't have finished my patch work. So I have to show my much appreciate by the seemingly disturbing post. Keep going on making more useful tools for FIFA fans!

I know it's ridiculous to talk about an old-fashioned game, but I just like the games very much. Also, in the very end of this post, I hope you can take fixing the WEd98 program into consideration. If you don't mind, can you give me an answer whether or not you would modify it, since I really want to make a comprehensive WC98 patch but I can't change the reserves data and also the players' abbreviation letter of their first names respectively by the program version of b13?

You mean why I post it on FIFA 07 forum? It was not by me, but one of the SG admin of "Ask Soccergaming" forum who moved this thread to here.

If the thread shows my "misunderstanding of Soccergaming Forum" and "disrespect of Chau Le and also the other programmers(FMU?)", delete this thread anyway.

Since I major in CSIE, as an 18-aged freshman, I should c***k it on my own. But apparently I have to specialize in C++ first. That will take years to accomplish. Anyway, thanks for the reply.

ok, first sorry, i might have came a little 'strong' (bad day)

now, it's really hard to find Chau Le here... i don't think he visits this forum...
and it's even more difficult to find people who can help you with a patch for such an old game, some guy came here about a month ago asking if somebody know how to edit fifa2002 files, and nobody could help him (he even got mad coz nobody answered him)

so, what i mean, it's gonna be difficult to find some help, good luck with that
and with chau le, he'd probable be working con creation center... i think it usually appears round january... it's the only thing i know

Well, a real programmer doesn't have much time to view forums, isn't it?

First of all, my apology for not replying to you earlier. I would have liked to visit these forums more often but with my ever increasing workload finding it difficult to do so.

It's great to know that someone still uses FEd98 and WEd98. It seems a lifetime ago when I did that. CreationCentre2007 which will due out shortly will be the 10th edition of FIFA editors that I have been involved with.

I thoroughly enjoy the experience. I have made countless number of friends during the journey. Some of whom I still keep in contact with.

Unfortunately I would not have the time to revisit any of the older editors. I hope you understand.
