A few questions

I am fairly new to this game and need help with a few things

1) How do I know which position I should put a player in? Do I just look at the stats, and say a player has good tackling, put him in defence?

2) How do I know if my stadium is at full capacity each week, as I have just built alot of seats, but dont know if they are being filled.

3) What is the best way to make money

4) What is the best tactic/formation

Thnx in advance :)

1) The stats players have are important in deciding where to position them. If you check the manual in your office on MZ, you will find under players a definition of the stats that can help. If in big doubt, download Assistant Manager from the MZ soccer gaming download section.

2) You can check the capacity by clicking on the match score in the matches screen and looking under the score line. There is an overall capacity, then after that there are brackets with 3 sections. The three sections are Standing, Seating, and VIP in that order respectively.

3) The main way to make money is to increase your stadium capacity so that there are better gate receipts, which you have already done so that's good. It's also best to save wages and increase the cash flow by selling un-used players. Also build a few external stadium buildings like a Hot Dog stand, pub, etc.

4) There is no real best tactic or formation. As in real football, there's always a chink in the armour of every tactic. I've heard though that it's best to adapt a square looking midfield. I find I play well using this sort of tactic and at the moment my team is unbeaten in league games this season.

Hope I've helped!

1. From the manual:

Depending on a players strengths and weaknesses you place him as a forward, midfielder or a fullback. You also need a goalie of course. To better understand what is important attributewise for each position see below:

* Fullbacks: Tackling, Passing, Game intelligence, Header

* Midfielders: Game intelligence, Passing, Ball control, Cross balls, Shooting, Set plays

* Forwards: Shooting, Ball control, Speed, Header, Game intelligence, Passing

* Goalie: The goalie attribute is the most important attribute

Above is just a guidline and it is of course good if a player is good in all aspects of the game as all attributes are used by all players (exeption is the goalie attribute).

2. Click on Standings -> And then your last league-match...and under the scoreboard (where the result stands ex. 2-0, you have "Spectator" and how many that saw the match, for example "Spectator: 8202" (And remeber that you don't get so many spectators on friendly-games or freindly-league, so it is better to watch your league-games when you will look up how many spectators that came and saw your match)

3. Sell players

4. The tactic that work for YOUR team is the best! :) We all have differents teams and players so a tactic that work fine for me maybe don't work for you. A compact 4-3-3 work ok for my team. Play some friendly-games and test tactics for your team and I am sure you soon find a good tactic
