I'm glad ][guNNer][ is appreciating my works, but to be honest, I am only using EA's templates because it the easiest and fastest way for me to produce something. I'm simply not as skilled as some other guys here are with texture editing because I have never really spent much time trying to understand how it works, but I'm trying to get better. Maybe for the next FIFA game I'll be able to draw my own textures :)

I agree with ][guNNer][ when he says that sometimes it may seem "unnecessary" that five kitmakers make the same Barca/Man Utd/[insert popular team here] kit. Just this weekend I was going through the Turkish league on FIFA and found that EA put many outdated/incorrect kits in the game. However, nobody made kits for these teams in this forum (except for Galatasaray and Fenerbahce which were made by Hagi). Same for the Portuguese league.
I was curious and searched for PES kits for these leagues and was really surprised because there are HD kits available for all these teams. It seems they cover a greater variety of teams with their kitmakers - is their community bigger or do they have some sort of agreement? I'm not sure how they achieve that.
At the end, as it has been said, it's up to every kitmaker himself which teams he wants to make and I personally am grateful for anyone that shares his work with us.

This is one that I think I can answer. I've been following this discussion with some interest, since the same arguments exist (on a smaller scale) in the PES editing comunity. I've been editing PES with banners, stadiums and kits for ten years and can throw my tuppence in here. My thread for PES kits is here;
http://forums.evo-web.co.uk/showthread.php?t=75670

To answer your questions (without straying into the minefield of which game is better, since I invariably buy both) I'd comment as follows;
1. The FIFA editing community appears to be much bigger than that for PES, but not as big as the gulf in sales would suggest. This is just my opinion, but remember that FIFA editing is mostly restricted to the PC version of the game, whereas PES players edit on all formats.
2. Editing (in particular kits) is in the DNA of the PES series. The game has always required editing and it's usually very straightforward. Editing in FIFA is hard for most beginners, but when you can import 2048x2048 kits straight into the PS4 version, 350 at a time, you encourage innovation and techniques such as those mentioned elsewhere in this thread (the Man United kits a post or two back are a class example)
3. Licensing has a huge impact. Most (tho I hate the term) "casual" gamers will pick up a game like FIFA because it requires very little editing to pick up and play. PES has 3 fake leagues, God knows how many compromised teams (Mersey Reds, Man Blue etc.) and hardly any licensed national teams. If you enjoy editing, this is great, but if you just want to enjoy the game out of the box, it's a nightmare.
For me, I really enjoy editing PES and I marvel at the textures produced by Nemanja, G Style and Ratatouille, just as I love the innovation I see on this forum. There is, however, no agreement about editing. I suspect the PES community edits out of necessity and the FIFA one out of choice.

The NDR the example of the Turkish league does not apply.
Because really the kits, need to go through a general improvement.

I referred to teams for example:
Borussia Dortmund, Inter, Juventus, Real Madrid and many other famous.
There is no "greater need" to create 200 kits.

Then you end up wasting time, which could consentrar League Turga and other generic.

Surely did not understand what I mentioned. OK

I think the debate is interesting and that, further magnifies the forum.

What I have attached from the beginning, treat ideas/suggestions:
- Search value other leagues more, because then the game becomes realistic.
- You may use the same templates EA (those good), because that way, it's fast, easy to edit and maintain an originality throughout the game.
- Glad large KITMAKERS interact, exposing their point of view, because, after all is a debate aimed only the best improvement.

Job Abdullah UAE is magnificent, others KITMAKERS should take as an example, using the original bases, so would enhance the whole game.

But it's not what happens.
Only spend recreating kits "content that exists and there is no need to replace."

The community should be more united and organized thus could expand edits by other generic alloys that are horrible. Damn fault of EA.

Who will complete?
Goalkeepers leagues:
- Sweden
- Switzerland
- Norway
- Ireland
- Belgium, etc.

For example: Rosenborg

Only need to use the original template and add the sponsors.

Templates Adidas

But it seems that there is no one here from those countries who care about leaving their perfect league.

That's what I can not understand. :md:

michellima82, caio89, Oscato are other good examples.

Your main concern is the Licencing issues i think. But kitmaking is a passion & a hobby business... They do what they do because they want to & can do.
They're LOT of sites novadays. I searched patches when i was young with no English back late 90s...
You should appreciate it that you can found them easily.

For example: Do you remember EA Graph, FEd2000 etc. stuff? These are the times...

Thanks for your reply, explained it really well! :)

Thanks, glad you liked the Viking kitpack :)
I probably won't make a Tippeligaen kitpack until February/March at least. Our season is over and I want to make the kits for the 2016 season ;)

I know my way around Photoshop, so I could've helped probably, if I had the game. I only have it on PS4.
