A black dream about CM & football

Almost 20 years of experience

I am playing football manager simulations since 1985's. I never miss anything about football manager games. Believe me guys, Cm 03/04's realism in circle players are really cool. Just a little imagination is required including full love of football. I am not talking about car racing game here or a Street Fighter game. I am in war between most of this kind of mentality instead of real football lovers. Believe me, if I show my white paperworks about my all past manager games experiences (mostly on 1986-92 period The Double in Commodore 64, Track Suit Manager, The Manager, Tactical Manager on Amiga and PC, etc) you will be shocked and my black dreams are really white ones (please look again my message icon), and believe me quick finishers , you are in black dreams as well.

FINAL WORDS: I am not saying CM done excellently on full match graphics neither in tactical nor in strategic suffering vary, but I safely say, the realism in full match conditions are unbeatable (at least my past 19 years of experience in football manager games in any platform).

So... Have you finished one season of CM 03/04 yet, or are you just starting it?

Honestly, most people here don't have the time to play a season in with 90 minute matches, and just because we don't watch 90 min mathes in a VIDEO GAME doesn't mean we don't love football, it means we have a life.
If you are always playing mangment games, and always watch the full 90 minute matches, how often do YOU go to real live matches?

there is nobody here with enough time to watch a full game match. extended highlights give you pretty much the gist of the game, they only take out the near misses, goals and a bit of other action. it is in no way cheating. i just think you're so caught up in your idea that you refute everybody's explanations as to why it wouldn't work. to spend that much time watching dots run around on a little screen isn't that exciting... and is way too time consuming.

Yes I finished many seasons, at the starting I was using commentary or key points, but I realize suddenly by using my past 19 years of experience on football manager games , that if I will give my valuable time in a realistic football management game which one is more important or more memorable: finishing 50 football season in a year by using key or commentary or finishing memorable 10 season with fair play including some memorable games in my 80 GB hard disk (full match). It was not too hard for me to decide which one is more realistic and more productive (which means If I have 2 hours spare time everyday I must select things more useful and more enjoyable for me and my network players) for me. But it was a realistic result of giving huge amount of time in manager game in past 19 years, and I lost many valuable times by using quick finishings in the past of my youth days. I just wanted to give a friendly caution or lovely offer to this community that you also lost time by using quick finishings and at last you will have nothing in your hands also. Believe me I tested this story many times in many football manager games in many platforms.

Your whole imagination will be change at most of 3 years in advance. Believe me. You will realize that you have nothing in your hands when someone on the net create a really good realistic football management games which requires some realism including when you dont have a chance to select big clubs, you will have no chance to finish games in a few mins, etc. You will understand you wasted time too much. Please forgive me my friend, maybe I am making a big mistake to telling you are on wrong way, maybe you have really good skills about management and maybe you can be a champion of the mentioned online realism football management game. And that scenario I will have only handshake to you and shame my ugly words.

You're having what? black dreams? wft is that supposed to mean? You cant tell the difference between real life and a game. Its just a game, we post in here and play that game coz we have phun. Errrrrr, you take this game a little too serious dude. Wasting your time because you watch only the key moments?? What about the fun?? I have other things to do than CM, like having a life you know, I don't spend the whole day behind my PC, although sometimes I wished.

You've completed may seasons in CM 03/04 using 90min matches yet you proclaim to have a life.
So... if each season you play roughly 40 matches, and each match is about 60 mins (as people have said), 40 x 60 = 2400, then assuming you've played 3 seasons, that's 7200... divide that by 24 to get days... that equals 300.... a life?

Very funny calculation but wrong ?

You proof not only your sluggish thinking period but also your calculation skill as well, lets calculate again, one match = 60 mins = 1 hour * 40 = 40 hour * 3 = 120 hour 120/24 = 5 days
If you spend 3 lovely hours a day, it takes 40 days for 3 season finishing. But in reality it won't. Add 20 days on 40+20= 60 days are more realistic calculation. You can easily calculate by using your own schedule. The main problem is not time I think, you have no imagination skills about circle players. Another important point to remember is nowadays youth generation want to finish quick everything, but finally they won't. They have no imagination, no spirituality, no respect to knowledge, no patience, etc.

You completely wrong also about my life, I have a life and very tough one, I am 31 years old, married, full time work and god damned health problems on my a....s. It is bleeding last 6 years and I lost my red blood cells as well, this means I need iron pills every days and it gave stress on my stomach, etc.

I am just an old english football fan and I was playing football manager games in my youth period and I never forgot my memories on these days. One day I saw CM 03/04, I said to myself "Thats it". Please accept my all apologizes mostly about my limited english and my angry words sometimes it directly comes from my old heart.

Ok i buggered up, but maths ain't my strong point.

I just fail to see, if your married/full time job, you've got time to complete a game in which you play every match 90 mins. If i were married (which I'm not, as i'm only 15, but having a GF will do in this example), I'd be spending more time with them that with a game.

There is no way to explain about the circles miracle to your young brains. However, I won't resign my mission. Think once, why do you play championship manager in your spare time ? How do you describe fun and fan ? Did you ever think to die for your team ?

Did you ever heard Hillsbrough tragedy ? "We'll never walk alone" found after that. I think you are more close to play FIFA like games. The action takes in place and fighting begins. I realize more and more there is no way to explain about the circle miracles to this community. However, I still have chances. Little chances but still I have.
