I want to share this my FM2010 tactics created for national team of Northern Ireland (download it following this link - FM 2010 tactics). I think it successful because of the following results achieved in the season #6:
Georgia – Northern Ireland 0:2
Northern Ireland – Denmark 2:0
Northern Ireland – Portugal 1:1
5 defenders and 3 central midfielders have to make a hint you that the tactics is oriented at playing through the pitch middle. That’s why Focus Passing instruction is set to the value. Look at Rigid Philsophy and Disciplined Creative Freedom as well. These two instructions mean that team will be playing more classic football with low amount of unpredictable actions. this tactical approach allows to control ball and create goal moments often even if you team is much worse than opponent's team.
