5.0.3/5.0.5 Helpful Hints

I have just installed the 5.0.5 exe file after updating the game with the 5.0.3 patch and I was wondering what to expect and what hints might be helpful with the new version? In the old version I achieved great success without too much trouble but it was not very realistic. In the new version is it still best to stack the midfield? I'm just starting a season with Liverpool and the original version I dominated with the following formation: (4-2-3-1)
with arrows moving forward down the flanks for Garcia and Kewell and an arrow down the middle for Gerrard.

barely any match engine changes, so you should be fine. A few tweaks to players abilities/training is the only thing that will effect how your team actualy performs on the pitch. There should be LESS stupidly high results.

Well so far my old tactics that worked like gems are not having much of an effect, but I do know the patch makes the game more realistic. Nice to see my strikers aren't getting booked every game for diving, but now the amount of bookings for everything else is insane, with an average of about 3 a game.

i suggest you don't give your players too much creative freedom. play simple short passing. this may cut out a lot of lose possesion in midfield.

btw, any good suggestion on how to give a setting on goalkeeper? my keeper always sucks big time. i have howard and stekelenburg atm

How on earth can you concede 6 goals in 2 CL matches, thats really bad. 1-0 and 2-0 all the way I barrely get other results, maybe 3-0 and 2-1 too.

Its the AI who conceded, I'm playing with Poli Ejido (Spanish Second Division)
