"3D-like" pitch in FIFA08?

I've found some screenshots of ea's Rugby 08 which seems to use the same or a very similar engine like the FIFA-Series.

On some screens you can see that the pitch looks not like a simple carpet anymore but like real grass. I know it's not as nice as in the next-gen games but I think it looks fine.




Do you think it's possible that ea will also put this pitch-style in FIFA08?
Or does anyone has more information about the engine and its possible connection to FIFA08?

yeah.. and if i'm not forgotten and mistaken in fifa05 when the camera is behind the goalkeeper that wants to make the goal kick the grass is so beautiful.. like that! :p
