This season the third divisions of Germany, France and Italy are being broadcast live for free. The German third division is broadcast on DFB Play app, the French third division returns to be broadcast on YouTube with than 2 games per round and the Italian third division with several games per round on the FIFA website (no need to register).
All these divisions have teams with a decent fan base, which helps to follow the games, teams such as: Valencienes, Rouen, Sochaux, Ternana, Catania, Perugia, Triestana, Dynamo Dresden (largest average attendance among third division teams), Hansa Rostock, Arminia Bielefeld ( several teams that were in the first division in the last 2 decades)
The advantage of watching the third division is that it is the lowest level where the relevant teams reach , And it is still easy to find news since both the websites and social networks such as the leagues and clubs' Facebook pages are updated (most of them are quite up to date). Since from the fourth division onwards (after Bordeaux is promoted) they are very small teams with few fans or very regionalized leagues. They are also divisions that major TV channels are not so interested in to the point of allowing free broadcasting of games (at least part of them).
Furthermore, since they are players, who for most of us are very little known, even for those who live in these countries, the focus ends up being THE GAMES and not personal lives and, most importantly, most of the squads are made up of players from their respective countries and not totally transnational squads, except for Triestina from the Italian third division ( The team with the least number of national players finished the match with no Italian players, incredible)
