do they mean podium cutscrenes were the players hold the cup in the middle of the field (ala 2003)? if so why would this be so hard to put in, are there liscencing issues with showing that?

I think it means there's no Champions League or UEFA Cup. It will be called European Cup etc as before.

No, they actually mean those podium cutscenes. At least the question was about these (read the whole log). It's probably so hard to put in because they're freakin lazy f*uckers.

The fact that you don't get to see the players lifting the cup after winning a tournament or becoming champions is something I really hated in Fifa2005.

To many it may sound as a detail but it's very satisfying as a player to see the team you played lifting silverware.

I'm dissapointed to hear Fifa06 will lack those scenes also... something to fix in the next fifa EA!

That sucks i really wanted it to return. I hate going through the tourny and getting such a lame finish. I remember in Fifa 2001 players would run around with the cup and fireworks would go off, what i would do to see that again.

I agree u dont get the same satifaction as you use to like winning a cup in 98 and 01 its so lame now its like any other match not even a congratulations :boohoo:

I'm not that bothered. After a while you start skipping those scenes anyway.
