Hi, will you be updating the NTs roster of nations with 0 players in FIFA22 as well ? I understand your reference points will be the 2014 FIFA WC game and older FIFAs to get as many players in with original IDs but half of them may not feature these days for their NT.

Well, that's the sacrifice I have to make. Maybe there will be an announcement for the World Cup game in the Northern summer?

Highly improbable. Its all about FUT these days. A separate game only for WC may not make sense to EA these days

I know, but you never know. The fact that they removed all the unlicensed NTs could point to something big for a World Cup (either an add-on or a complete videogame). At least with a DLC, there will be an update for the qualified teams (+ maybe some nearly qualified ones).

Of the teams that have qualified, the ones not in FIFA22 are:

UEFA: Croatia, Serbia, Switzerland (same as in FIFA18 DLC - Switzerland also having licensed kits)
AFC: Iran, South Korea & hosts Qatar
+ All 5 CAF teams that will qualify from the March playoffs

For Australia to qualify directly, they have to win their last 2 games: Japan home & Saudi away. New Zealand will make it difficult against 4th CONCACAF (but they'd have more of a chance vs Panama than CRC). From CONMEBOL, Ecuador will be 3rd, Uruguay has the best chance of 4th.

CONCACAF outside North America is really hard to update. Apart from Costa Rica, Jamaica, Panama & Honduras, they only have 1-2 new players per country

People who are interested in updating the lineups should get along. I mean, don't let everyone do the same. Anyone willing to help update teams should list the national teams that he will do.
