2018 FIFA World Cup Russia Patch - FIFA16,18 or Official Game

First of all thank you for this amazing patch. I was playing a tournament the other day and everything was working fine until I had to play Brasil and then the game crashed. So I downloaded the Marcelo face fix and the player lua fix and now my game crashes at the first screen that pops up when booting the game. I cant even get to the main screen.

Your problem is alison face find alison face id and delete and play.

Thank you but I can't even get past the "press start" screen of the game. I haven't even tried playing with Brazil or Liverpool so how could could it be Alison's face? My game was working fine before applying the Marcelo fix and player Lua. Well it was running well except when trying to play with brasil

I noticed some FIFA NT teams dont have banners (I understand and dont really care about banners for the Non-FIFA NTs), namely:

Bhutan
Brunei Darussalam
Central African Republic
Eritrea
Guam
Laos
Papua New Guinea
Philipines
Sao Tome & Principe
South Sudan

Also, for some reason South Sudan has the Sao Tome & Principe flag, while Sao Tome & Principe has no flag.

Some coordinates and UTC times for some NTs are also wrong (mainly south america). I understand that affects the daytime shades.

The teams above weren't in the 2010 World Cup videogame. All the 2014 banners for teams were based on the 2010 IDs. So, Mauritania & Mauritius have their 2014 banners even though they weren't in the 2014 videogame at all & 2014 FWQ participants, but not in 2010 World Cup, don't have banners:

CAR, Laos, Philippines, PNG, STP.

Why? Well ask EA that one! :P

Bhutan, Brunei & Guam didn't enter 2010 nor 2014 FWCQ, so they have no EA assets except for their IDs. Same reason for South Sudan (didn't exist untill July 2011 when World Cup 2014 Qualifiers already started).

I am trying to update squads for national teams, but many players are missing from the current seasons. for now I'm studying how to use the CM 16 and import players. when I learn, I intend to contribute with updated squads for this patch and Fabrizzio1985's, in his I managed to update the Brazilian squad in game, but by CM16 he did not accept the modification.

Mmmh... so you actually didn't create any banners for this 2018 NTs patch ? You just took the ones from 2010 and 2014 ?

Well all the banners are from 2014, 2010 banners aren't square/rectangles. UEFA & CONMEBOL banners are customs + the CONCACAF banners specified in the release & Australia & New Zealand (made by @graysky ). The 2018 DLC banners are really generic, so I figured it would be better to have the 2014 banners anyway.

I'm starting to look into this because I think the next stage would be adding banners to all the stadiums that have been converted/created. I guess it is not a big deal to create banners for the few teams missing.

I also have all the flags in 512x256 in case you want them

I edit and adjust the size of kitoverly graphics for world cup tournament, which makes all Not-Qualified-teams also have wc kit badge on both arms.

I suggested a few post ago that you mix the squads of this patch with a certain number of players for the national teams based on the squads of the last months. this would give a total of 200 players for each known national team (UEFA, CONMEBOL, etec) and a better possibility for editing. What do you think about this? is the idea feasible? I'm trying here, but importing players via CM16 is difficult and I don't know the tool. Finally, I am using the google translator, and Brazilian Portuguese is very complicated, so disregard any words that seem remotely hostile, as it is not my intention. Greetings!

It's very cool that there are a lot of players in the Robbie database. You can appoint whoever you want to each team. There are even the stars of Zidane, henry, you can easily appoint your favorite players in cm16.

I haven't added the most recent players because we don't know the final rosters for Copa America 2021 nor UEFA EURO 2021. I am following the most recent squad announcements for World Cup qualifiers and UEFA Nations League, however. Apart from UEFA high ranked nations & CONMEBOL teams, it will be hard to update teams which are not in FIFA by default and do not have their own leagues in-game. For example, there are only 3 African teams in FIFA, Ivory Coast, Egypt & South Africa. Asia only has 5 leagues, so apart from Australia, China PR, South Korea, Japan & Saudi Arabia, it will be difficult to update other national teams from CONCACAF, Africa, Asia, Oceania.

A lot will depend if there will be official World Cup game for Qatar 2022 or only Finals' DLC. All 211 FIFA member national associations are taking part for the first time (no suspensions or exclusions), so it would be a very strong opportunity to have a stand alone video game with every single FIFA national team.

Sorry if this has been reported but there seems to be a problem with Colombia's home stadium. There are some weird colors on the track and it is very dark. Not sure if its a time of day problem, I was playing a RTWC in Conmebol. Thanks
