I think Seattle could win it again this season. They are manhandling Arizona (who are admittedly without Mathieu) and no one in the NFC really looks that impressive if they stay this way. Carolina would be the main challenge but their schedule hasn't been that tough and I can see them struggling in the playoffs. The Pats are all banged up and the other AFC teams are all missing key players too. Wilson has been on fire in the second half of the season, Lockett is killing it on special teams and their defense is still one of the best.

Seriously, Lockett has been brilliant today. He must have nearly 100 yards returning and it's still the first half.

Who do you want to draft with that pick? I can see you winding up with Bosa or one of the top tackles. Getting a future replacement for Rivers so early seems like a waste.

With the #3 pick I'd select safety-corner, Jalen Ramsey from Florida State. He's a perfect fit for the Chargers who will need to revamp the secondary after Eric Weddle leaves as a free agent this off season. Ramsey can play both the safety position as well as cornerback which means you can play him anywhere in the secondary and his height (6'1) is a big factor considering most of the Charger corners are 5'11 and under. Our best corner Jason Verrett is only 5'9. Ramsey is a track and field star (long jump, 4X100) at FSU and that tells me the type of athlete his is and his potential to make game changing plays ultimately game winning plays.

I'd say he's a bigger need to our team than Joey Bosa. I hope we don't end up with either of the big tackles, Tunsil or Staley.

Vikings lead by a TD with 5 minutes left. Patterson returns the ball to the Packers 30 yard line where the KICKER knocks the ball out and recovers the fumble and now Rodgers puts the Packers in Viking territory. Best kicker play of the year.

I think the Packers were halfassing. The Redskins are a better opponent me thinks.

The topic of us tanking that game came up repeatedly in the state of Wisconsin last week when I was there.

Holy shit, Hoyer has just been shit. 4 interceptions and 2 fumbles. The Texans' defense was keeping the damage at a minimum for a while but this is just too much.

The Texans pick too high to get Goff and I think that moving up to get him (or Lynch) will cost them too much. They need more improvements after all. SBNation has them taking Carson Wench, with Hackenberg and Cook still on the board. I wonder if they can get the best player available and pick up one of those guys later on. Or maybe the Browns will accept chump change for Manziel and they can try and see if they can get him to settle down in Texas. Doesn't look good for them.

Texans basically saw making the playoffs as a participation sticker, so doesn't surprise me that they got smacked down by a team that is streaking. I guess if Bengals lose Pats play Chiefs... should I be concerned? Hmmm...

I dunno, they lost Maclin and Texas basically had no offense. Hoyer was shit and the running game only had one 50 yard run to show for its effort. Chiefs have a great pass rush but Brady is very good at getting the ball out quickly. It took the Chiefs quite a while to put the game beyond a two possession reach so I'm not sure that they can maintain it against a better opponent.

Still 0-0 nearing the end of the first half in the match-up that was supposed to be the most heated.

Insane how he managed to hold on to make sure it was deemed complete.

Bengals 5 pts down with about 2 minutes left around the Steeler's 30 yard line. I'm betting on them getting their first playoff win in years (thanks to but still without Dalton).

EDIT: Yep, Green hauls it with 1:50 left. They don't convert the 2 pts, so Steelers have just under 2 minutes to drive to field goal range without big Ben. I think they get close but miss the FG. Otherwise I think we see a huge brawl on the field.

REEDIT: Nevermind, interception on the first play back.

WTF? Looks like the Bengals fumble on THEIR first play!

REREEDIT: So, I can see why the Steelers hate Burfict. Just tried to shouldercheck Antonio Brown's head when the play was already dead (aside from injuring Bell and getting into several altercations).

So Steelers win 18-16. I dunno what Big Ben and Brown's status will be though. Broncos-Steelers, Patriots-Chiefs it is then.

Holy shit, a fumbled snap goes way behind Wilson and it looks like he's going to take the sack but he evades the Viking defenders and converts the 3rd down which Locket takes to the 4 yard line.

And Baldwin scores, so it's 9-7 for the Vikings, most of the 4th quarter left. The Seahawks had several long FG shots that they instead tried to convert through Wilson, not entirely sure why. Hope they make it.

Kam Chancellor with a forced fumble on Adrian Peterson. That's AP and Megatron in the same season (and I think he had more on lesser players too).

I'm glad, though it seems like it was the holder's fault rather than Walsh, who is a good kicker.

Packers started slow but I can't see Washington turning this around. 2 TDs down with 5 minutes left. Green Bay have thrown more comfortable positions though.

Just realized RGIII will probably be available for teams this season and so will Kaepernick. I know they and Manziel have issues and might not be suited to O'Brien's system but if I were the Texans I'd take a gander at whoever looks like he could work out best (my vote is RGIII) and draft best players available. If it doesn't work out they can try and get someone like DeShaun Watson next year (I think he's available next year right?) or J.T Barrett or some other QB.

If Cardale falls maybe try him out?

Yeah, DeShaun has one more season in college.

JT Barrett needs to show that he can do what he did in 2014 again before I would draft him.

This game is pretty good so far. When Henry made that rush I thought Alabama might overwhelm Clemson but I underestimated just how good Watson is.

This is not a Clemsoning. A Clemsoning involves losing to an inferior squad. While I do think Clemson were probably the better team overall (because of Deshaun Watson, admittedly), Alabama was favored by like 6 points and was not some upstart underdog like Clemson historically blows a game to (NC State level teams).

DeShaun Watson is a generational talent at QB. Casual fans mistakenly think he's just some one dimentional runner, but the first thing I noticed when he took over as a true Freshman last year was how incredible his pocket presence, poise, and command of the passing game is. He is really just an incredible player. In terms of talent I'd compare him to Cam Newton; he's faster, yet much smaller, and I'd say probably a better natural passer of the ball, but his talent is in that echelon. Jameis and Mariota aren't even close to this kid. He has one more year to run this spread offense at Clemson and refine down all the little things, and by the time he hits the NFL I think he's going to be really good right away.
