Head for a bar or liquor store already, asshole. ;)

I consumed 7 pints across the game (11:45 am local time, 1 before the equalizer, 6 after) and I am having a quick internet break to vent my frustration before heading out to complete obliteration.

I just admire the way Simeone handles his team's role as underdog. I love the attitude he projected on his team and to me they're a very exciting team to watch.

I'm buying ''long term projects'' from clubs like Ajax who try to exploit their youth academy or other clubs that don't have much to spend, but not Chelsea and their habitual 50+ mil transfer windows.

Chelsea have the best youth prospects in the world at the moment, both purchased and homegrown. And don't get me wrong I like Simeone too, but what I don't get is what Mou gets bashed for the exact same thing because his team costs more, in reality you only appreciate Simeone because it's fresh and fits your guidelines - you'll turn on him when he steps outside pleasing you

All 4 games this season between Paleti and Madrid were different, both coaches are excellent and the players believe in them.

Even more of a reason why the final will be so unpredictable, specially since Atletico is still competing for La Liga title as is Madrid. It's going to be some very interesting and long remaining games for both of us. Unlike last year when Bayern and BvB had their positions already lined up way before the CL final.

So Simeone planned on having Terry slip and Eto'o to foul Diego Costa? Please.

no but I'm sure simeone ordered tiago to lob the ball to far post, and then told juanfran to run like hell and cross from that spot, and hopefully something would came up cause he knows chelsea prefer a tight defensive line rather than a wide one..

second half; Arda took the ball at left flank, filipe came up behind him.. tiago came close, arda cut inside, everyone thought he'd do an in swerving low cross, he passed back to tiago, tiago played to filipe and filipe left with an open flank to cross.. nothing came out of it though, but this is exploiting..

It's been part of Chelsea all season to allow teams space in wide areas to cross, because 99% of the time nothing comes of it.

Tremendous match up for the final. Probably the two best teams in Europe this season. Would love to see an Atletico Double.

I don't get the impression Chelsea's transfer policy is designed to wait for these players to break through in their first team. They keep buying. It's crazy how many players they have under contract, reserves and youth team loanees included. Juve's doing the same with the co-owned structures to see how prospects develop, I do get that approach, but Chelsea's first team doesn't strike me as a work in progress at all.

As a neutral football fan watching these matches it's definitely a matter of sympathy and witnessing a fresh approach. Every season's different, sympathies do change, but I'm aware I'm just talking about this season and the upcoming CL final.

A number of players are on the brink of being phased out, cech, lampard, Torres/etoo, eventually terry - each one will be from a player under contract atm except maybe the striker because lukaku has seemingly started to tail off/flop at everton

At least Vitesse will be fun for several years.

Not when Chelsea match fix and make them lose games as to not cup tie their players in the CL (H)

Come on, League title is already decided.

Vitesse's drop in form has been ridiculous. Would've been awesome if we could have offered our youth players CL football. Maybe next year.

Atleti only need 6 points and we will give them 3 in case they head to Camp Nou without being champions already.

Only Villa/Raul Garcia and maybe Gabi, but the rest of them are very good - world class imo. Filipe Luis is top 4 on his position, Godin-Miranda is a very good, solid CB pair, Juanfran is a good RB. Koke-Arda-Costa.. no words.

I rate probably 2 or 3 Atlético players highly enough to be in a CL final. I don't particularly like their over the top aggressive style, either, but it did get them results, so kudos to Simeone. I know it's probably an unpopular opinion nowadays.

Courtois and Diego Costa are the only world class players, then Koke and Arda are very good (Miranda as well) the rest is meh... Filipe is a very good player but he is a fucking left back...

That's so (6). But I have faith in Neymar and Messy in scoring three goals each :D
