db only, but with very accurate stats and heavy focus on custom tactics/formations, the other methods are lacking.

9000+ players will have there own stats according to various sources, i have already done 7000, rest of them will be defaults but in certain range of numbers, so they will be ok too.

I have a problem when playing online with GameRanger - when we start the match and I go to the arena, my keyboard stops working, the match starts and my team is uncontrollable, I tried two times now and it didn't work. I installed all the versions of the patch + the graphic tool as told in the instructions. Could you please tell me how to fix this problem? Thank you.
P.S. Despite this, the patch is looking very good to me, I am waiting to see the new version coming up, but I hope I solve my problem soon too.
P.S.2 I have another problem - the game is not saving my settings - when I mute all sounds, change controls settings etc. and then I restart the game, the settings are not saved. How to fix this? Thanks.

u selected the option "skip intro" ?
if so,
better to disable it (turn off) as it can give errors (at saving etc)

at wich installer u have this problem (wich patch version u try to install) ?

& wich download link u used?

maybe:

- the installer file is broken (try redownload)

- some problems with pc (like security settings, ...), try then:
* install to another folder (like desktop)
* move the files (after install) to fifa 11 folder

Tokke I can now confirm my previous doubts about loaned players not returning to club with the update. 2nd season over and the loaned players for 2nd time do not return to the parent club.

Moreover I can now point out one more thing that when you fail to sign a player, the details of failure and the history of players signed/ failed to sign does not appear in 'Negotiation History'. Plz have a look at these 2 issues in next update if possible

career was always giving troubles
as it can give much errors when u edit the squads
like until half this year there was a crash at season 2, ...
the career normally don't crash anymore

the negotiation history thing is FIFA's problem/bug no one can do anything about it.
