When I first joined, my team name was Portreath AFC... my ground's still called Portreath Park.

Alright! Just won 2-0 over the team top, who beat me 2-1 away last time. It puts me back in with a chance, 50% possession and 11-6 SC, 2-0 was a good win then.

And there was me thinking you were inspired by my team and so had decided to name your ground after them!
I quite like the name, although it does kinda sound a bit Welsh (No offence meant!) Dunno why but I intend to stick with it.Got beaten and totally outplayed by IFK Guts today in the cup, still second but a little too close for comfort now.

Haven't posted in here for a while, well, got a few good wins, including one over the team second, so I leapfrogged them and qualified.
Just played div6 Swedish side Filles ice fackaz, they have a few players over £300k in value, rest was £200k or so. I just hammered them 6-0 ... !
Won a penalty, then scored five more, my strikers getting 1, 2 and 3 goals... hattrick hero scoring a cracking long range goal, just powered it and in it went... bit like my other player scoring a lob from 30 yards... and I'm through.

Okay, 12-1 SC, 61% possession... guess the score...
Well, no... it was 1-0, but I won, not lost.
Had a penalty missed, another load of shots saved, they got a penalty... argh noooooooooooo!!
But they missed, and finally a goal came, and just edged it 1-0, despite the fact it should've been about 3/4-0.
But I'm through, which is the main thing.

Beat a div7 Swede, 1-2, with 6-7 SC, so pleased with the result... unfortunately, central striker with probably a recovering injury, two days I reckon, injured after only 4 minutes, so played with a youth up front. Best defender booked, think he'll miss the next game, not great, as he misses my Team Spirit Cup match tomorrow as well, with my other defender also a yellow from a suspension... But I'm through, I think I've only played Swedes in this cup so far, and including the group stage, knocked out around nine... excellent.
