Hey, I've been playing fifa for a while and I was wondering a couple of things

are there any specific ways to counter a game style or what are the counter parts of the game styles in fifa 10?

for example England/Spain/Brazil tend to play counter attack, some other teams go with side overload, some teams like Barcelona attack using the wings and so on, what kind of team should I use Vs. counter attack teams? how do I counter Side overload? and the other kind of strategies or what are the all around teams?

I ask this because I noticed that a friend of mine started to play with specific Teams against my picks and now the winning rate is on his favor :clapwap:

2nd:

if I replace one of the fifa default kits that usually go around 50 kilobytes and 100 kilobytes for 1 between 500 kilobytes and 900 kilobytes will affect the gameplay like making it slower causing low frame rates or it doesn't matter at all?

I was wondering because I saw one of the kits I was replacing was like 60 kbs and the new was about 800 kbs and I am afraid to loose some frames since fifa runs so smooth right now :innocent_smile_1:

Hi, about your questions, probably your friend is playing better against you according to the experience and previous matches, and 'cause had found the teams that fits better to his playing style.
So, what matters is the playing style, not the teams, to face certainly teams.
Based on my experience, offline and online matches, the key is to impose your style of play, if u have a solid gameplay, the playing style of your rival is secondary, first he must defend your gameplay, and then, try to make his gameplay.

Must at least, have variations in your game, that allows u to play with ball control, counter-attack, side overload, quick passes, through balls...so when your game isn't working, "change the switch" and try with other style.
So, i play with 4-3-3, but against skilled players or when i can't impose my gameplay against pressing or side-overload players i use 4-2-2-2 and variate my game according to that, i play with ball control and passes, but as i said before, have variations ready to use against certainly players, and, must practice free kick and corner plays too.

And, for the second question, if you have a good videocard, there will be no problem on the kit's size.

well i have a 4-2-2-2 side overload game style as well but we used to play with like random teams just for the kicks, so to counter my strategy i figured out it takes only a personal mark on the guy that runs over to stop it or to make time while the defenders take their places, so I thought about specific ways to counter a game setup, but I guess you are right, the game style of the player should count for instead of the team formation makes sense yeah.

is there a way to prevent counter attack at all? I abuse short passes hahaha basically I get most of my team to the other side of the field then start taking shots trying to recover the ball ASAP in case my shot is blocked or most commonly bounces off the post but in this way I won many matches but with a counter attack I need a lot of luck with my GK to block the shot, I read that you need to tap a key twice so the GK comes back to the goal line if he rushes out but never worked, so any tips appreciated.

Yeah I haven't noticed any change on the FPS with all the new kits I added so I think I'm ok :D
