my lcd is 22" Samsung and the max native resolution is what I stated before and I haven't used kitserver for pes2008, yet! I will use it when it finalized, for now I just patch it the old way, hex editing and GGS.forumito;2465629 said:Well, my LCD (20.1'' Samsung) has max. and native resolution at the same time at 1600*1200 -> due to the nature of LCD it's best to keep it at native resolution.
I have Dual-Core 2.13GHz (with Ninja cooler waiting to be put at higher frequencies), GeForce 8800GTS 320MB, 2GB 800MHz RAM, etc.
As you can see I can't choose anything higher than 1024*768 on high quality
WeVi, do you need Kitserver to use 1600*1200?
darklomba, thanks for the link -> if I understand correctly I'll be able to choose higher resolutions with Kitserver?
forumito;2465644 said:Works. I've used this lodcfg utility and it let's me enforce 1600*1200, although it still shows 1024*768, but I can tell it's the right solution.
Anyway, why is it impossible to set higher resolutions without Kitserver? Did Konami implement some system that measures if the PC is strong enough to handle PES? Well, Crysis doesn't complain, so that's an obvious indicator they've got it wrong with PES 2008 (not that I'm on same programming level as this guys yet they're full-blown professionals and should put better outcome than this). But you know the saying goes... if 2008 is this bad, PES 2009 will be mind-blowing.
