In multiplayer games (not online, just amongst friends on a console), which size team has the advantage? We usually play 2 on 2 or 2 on 1, and it seems that there isn't a difference. Recently we've had enough people come over for a 3 on 3 game or a 3 on 2, and one of us is very annoyed at the prospect of having to play on a 3 person team. He says it's a huge disadvantage, that the 3 person team is much worse than a 1 or 2 person team, and that it's much less fun and worse football. We've only tried about three games or so with 3 person teams and I think it's simply because we're not used to it yet, and I'd even venture to say that a 3 person team will be an advantage once we get used to it. What do you guys think? In your experience, which size team is the best?
