    I also had the error (on Vista), but solved it by right clicking on the timeExpander.exe, going to the compatability tab and ticking 'run this program as an administrator'.

    I'd guess it would be because 5.0.4 is another language version (like 5.0.1 was, 5.0.2 was actually the first patch). Or 5.0.4 is the version thats being remastered, the patch and data update is being put onto CDs so anyone that buys FM soon will have the patch and data with the game.

    I really recommend you go to the SI data issues forum, and post EVERY little detail you think is wrong in a thread (not sure if theres already and Argentinian thread). Theres a chance they might ask if you want to help for FM 2006. If not they can at least fix any issues you have for FM 2006...

    Just so people know, positioning is a defensive attribute in CM/FM, off the ball (sometimes called movement) is the attacking version.

    There is no proper way of getting shot power from FM, as its not in the game, apart from the PPMs you mentioned (Hits Free Kick With Power, Shoots Long, Shoots With Power), which would mean the player has a some power in their shooting.

    I'd agree with a lot of that, but quite a few don't seem right to me. A DML/DMR or wingback R/L should be a SB in PES. A winger in FM (AM R/L) should be a WF, if they can play M R/L they should be a SMF also. An OMF in PES is an AMC in FM. Im not going to bother saying about all of those...

    Strange!!!

    I thought the same with WE7:I last year, basically everything was compatible and it could be released as a patch. Things like lag and performance should defintly be sorted out if they have a fix for it, I can understand actual gameplay stuff a bit more though. And about the option file editor...
