    I am surprised that more people aren't interested in this as this game has changed my view of video game soccer. I would always get bored of PES because it would get too easy even on 5 star but not this game.

    It is a awesome game, it did take about 3 times of playing to really see the all the new options in playing and enjoy them but now I can't go back to any other version. Some things need to be fixed for the next version but the rest of the game is gold.

    But you just described the situation that makes the game more scripted in my opinion. Going diagonal almost always works and nothing else does except maybe lobbing the keeper.

    It's easy to play againts 6 stars.

    Actually there is a easy way to make it harder. Just put some offensive player like Burchet or Castello as your goalie. Now almost any deccent shot the CPU takes should go in. Makes defence alot more frantic.

    There is a way but it is complicated, I 've done it to both PES 3 and PES 4 to make it more challenging. It involves some fairly complex alterations with the option file editor. I won't type it up unless you say your still interested. By the way I start Master League with the default players...
