i would like to win that trophoe tp be honest. we are never in this comp and more silverware never hurts. dont know if i would want to win it at the expense of winning the prem though. field a strong team if we are playing bottom half teams.

Rafael is a Wing back, he was doing what he was supposed to be, getting forward. when he is that advanced it is the midfields and job to fill in the gap he leaves. Valencia did a good job getting back, but the pass to RVP and his shot were unstoppable. GG over all.

not really, since it was a two footed challenge it might be that the intent is considered there innately. its hard to say since this sort of thing isnt actually written into the rule book. its just covered under the dangerous play clause and the ref's get their directives to what is "dangerous...

2 footed tackle is always a red, contact or no, on the ground or in the air. straight RED. komany only has himself to blame cuz there was no need for him to go into the challenge like that.

In all honesty we made it very easy for the newcastle midfield. we did not spread the play once in the entire game. we would push a wing, get closed out, try to push it again when play should have been switched, then lose the ball. newcastle had very little running to do. giggs had a howler and...

Lol, he never won anything. Funny thing is though all the exact same stuff was being said during Chelsea's 3 straight prem wins. what did SAF do? exactly. you can second guess him all you want. but his record speaks for itself, yours on the other hand does not :icon_spin:

Ill take fergies logic over any of you guys any day of the week. he has been building championship teams for years. to be second guessing his philosophy seems like a waste of time. the man knows his **** and has been producing for 25+ years. and id be willing to bet he would beat the lot of you...

form never stays through the entire season. you will always get highs and lows. the trick is the make sure your lows dont go as low as the other teams in the competitions you are entered into.

sigh, the result, although flattering to Man ****ty, is a real embarrassment. I just hope Fergie can use it to his advantage. i dont think we have ever lost by so much under fergie.

Chica's da man. i missed the first half. but the second was entertaining. was surprised at the lineup myself. i think fergi was actually resting all of his players that had big international breaks. Rooney;s being big in terms of media fall out. with that starting lineup i cant say that i am...

dontl like playing with purely defensive mids. if you are going to do that may as well have 5 in the D. Keano was good cuz he was box to box, he excelled in defence but was more than happy going forward to support the attack.
