    i've got a nasty blister on one of my fingers from playing this too much. strange thing is, i never noticed until i loaded up gran turismo 3 yesterday. shows how it can make you play through the pain barrier!

    2.8gb for the game in 10 different languages for a guess. its not just the text its the commentary remember. on the ps2 it stops for a while whilst it loads up the right commentary files, thats why its on an dvd and isn't a regional release.

    couldn't be bothered waiting for the pc version anyway so bought a ps2, memory card and a copy of pes3 for £159.99. bit of an impulse buy but haven't regreted it! might when the credit card bill comes though!!

    Fifa 2004 PC with PS2 controller.

    not tried the full game but in the demo mine just rumbles as soon as i turn the game on. can't play it without getting a constant hand massage! i can play with my sidewinder but no analogue :rolleyes:

    sis are nasty, you can get mobile nvidia and ati cards but don't know if your laptop would be upgradable and it would probably void your warranty. i doubt the full game will be that much improved performance wise so you may struggle.

    Just played the full version of Fifa 04. I found an awesome in game feature....

    was just going to say the return to windows option. i hope you didn't actually pay for it, couldn't imagine anyone wanting to. think i might try the extended demo later to see if its really as bad as the demo suggests...

    Yeah! We have done it again! PES-Access has already Cracked the PES3 Demo!

    goes to show brazil don't win anything with their stunning good looks! by the time the demo is cracked the full game will probably be with us, but good luck anyway!

    yeah stay away from iss its an arcade version of footy more than anything. i wouldn't waste your time with fifa, pes will be out on the pc in a couple of weeks, just be patient, or buy yourself a ps2 like i did :mrpimp:

    if there isn't one already i could do with a list. i went through the game and updated all the team names and a few of the bigger players, but couldn 't be bothered with finding out who all the players were meant to be.

    totti and vieri in this game...

    bergkamp and totti are the ones that get me everytime i come up against them. if they don't score 35 yard free kicks, they take it around half my team and slot it in! find it best to try and shield them away from goal and try and crowd them out. if all else fails kick em in the shins!

    the dvd is for the commentary mainly, so you will need it unless it copies from the dvd on install. seems a bit stupid to me, dvd drives were something you bought a couple of years ago, at the moment i don;t see the need as most people will have a dvd player. i've only got one because i didn't...

    Defending

    when pressing a player bring in another defender to nick the ball away from him. think its square, or whatever isn't slide tackle. just hold it down and another player will come into help, makes it a lot harder to dribble past your whole team.

    well nedved is next on my list but i'll have a look for the frenchies you mentioned. i've found that offering exchanges is the easiest thing to do to get the expensive players. when you buy new players do they take a while to settle in with the team as torres seems to be playing really badly...
