    Try playing in another language, for example Italian, and check that the names look correct. If so then it is a language problem and possibly with the LOC folder. Try installing the latest version of the patch again.

    It has happened to me that matches break up before they start and I have observed that if you try to simulate them, a player with a red card appears on your team. So I remove that player from the starting lineup and the game runs as normal.
