    The Inter Milan Thread [2006/2007]

these late game collapses are getting ridiculous. Anyway it was still a nice game to watch. Adriano showed some real signs of life and had made a very delicate pass to set up Crespo's second. Speaking of which, Adri could really learn something from Crespo. Although they are different...

Viera gets another red :nape: what an idiot. Without him and Esteban our midfield takes a big hit. Now Stanko will most likely move from the left to the center. Personally I'd like to see more of Maxwell on the left, but Mancini has been giving a lot of time to Gonzalez

Is anyone else beginning to feel like Maicon is a defensive liability. He got beat on Toni's first goal against Fiorentina and again against Sporting. I don't think Mancini should completely give up on him, but there is no way he should play over Zanetti.

Group B: Sporting Lisbon vs Inter Milan [P+R]

CarlosDanger, you make a lot of good points and I didn't word my original post correctly. What drives me crazy about these kind of results is that Moratti still seems to think that he can eliminate them by changing the players on the field rather than even considering a different coach. anyway...

FT: Inter 3-2 Fiorentina Zlatan nabs the third after a nice pass from Cambiasso. Toni got a brace to make it interesting. Mancini takes of Matrix and Toni promptly nets twice :nape: . So far our defence has looked unreliable this season. Still I am very happy with the result.

Facchetti has passed away...terrible news. Only 64 years old, still too young in today's world. One of the greatest players to put on the Nerazzurri shirt. He will be sorely missed Giacinto Facchetti was born in Treviglio, Bergamo province on 18 July 1942. A gifted all-round sportsman in...
