my local chinese league team which Gazza is playing for might consider signing Ronaldo tho.(H)

To add to his transfer kitty I think Robson should first sell of Cort, who due to his unfortunate injuries, I doubt has a long term future at St James Park.

I can see Newcastle going after a defender to partner Woodgate in the centre and maybe a striker as well. In midfield they look pretty solid already.

There was talk of Southgate moving to Newcastle, but taking his age into account as well as his lack of Champions League experience could make this transfer very unlikely to happen.

Mido has also been linked with the club recently.

I was reading the othe week about Bobby monitoring Jesuli. How many wingers do they want?

He is also going for youth talent too apparently, I think the combined ages of all the players would never reach Bobby's age. :)

A strong experienced centre back. Preferably German.

yeah apparently Bobby has money to spend. and he deserves it after the way he turned the club around

but Im sure we're not gonna anything from them at all. Until a deal is final. Which is good cos all rumours and rubbish is just rumours

Southgate would be a massive signing. He is very good.

Beattie reminds me of Shearer a hell of a lot. He would be a good player to fill Shearers position when he decides to hang up his boots.

I think that they should buy a defender because Dabizas could be on his way out. Titus Bramble should get more of a run.

well hes got one more season left on his contract ... and hes asked for an extension

so its at LEAST another 2 years .... and probably even more providing no serious injuries of course

Aye. 2 years up in Geordieland, then back to Southampton to finish his career in a season which sees Beattie and Shearers partnership score over 40 goals. :D

It would not surprise me if Bobby went for Carrick, James or Defoe. :(

probably not James or Defoe

but most definatly hell be keeping an eye out for Carrick. As a long term replacement for Speed
And being a Geordie Im sure Carrick wouldnt mind that much

lets me see!!!...they already got 2 capable keepers,so that area is covered.
in defence,hopefully Titus will get better,O'Brien is ok,Dabizas might be asking a for a transfer,what they do need is an attacking right back(i ain;t mentioning names).
in midfield they surely need a replacement for Speed just in case he gets injured,maybe Batty lol(they can interchange when each other gets injured or suspended lol)..i really hope they dont get that dumb overated brazilain Klebersonofabitch...also they might need another winger not whinger lol cause Robert still doesnt look that settled.
upfront they got it covered but maybe should get another yougster to grrom as the next King..Cort should be sold also to get some cash.

Emerton would be a great buy for attacking right back.

It seems now that Bowyer is going to Newcastle. This probably means that Carrick will go elsewhere.
