Couple of questions guys

First up:

Managing Arsenal, I agreed contract terms and transfer fee with Defoe, but due to non-availability of funds, I delayed transfer for 3 weeks.Then West Ham cancelled the transfer. Now I am not being able to make another offer for defoe cause the game keeps saying that Defoe has already agreed a contract with me. IS there any way to correct this?
Also, I have been delaying Joe Cole's signature cause of the same issue of no-funds. What should I do to avoid the Defoe situation happening again?

Also, I won the league cup, am topping the EPL table, am in the semis of the CL and finals of the FA cup YET the board won't lend me money for transfers...what's up? How can I get more funds?Or are the funds given only at season beginning? I spent my initial funds for Chivu who cost me a whopping 12 mill

Click Defoe > Action > Withdraw transfer bid.

Get more money for transfers by selling players. The board makes that clear. To gain more dosh, sell.

Tried that but the diwthdraw transfer option isn't there.That could be because west ham cancelled the transfer.Damn, I wanna buy defoe and now it won't even let me offer another bid

The only way I can think is to retire then add yourself again.

It's definately not a bug. We all know CM4 has none.

Yeah because being able to get players for free, etc. is not a glitch/bug.

I've had this bug. After two weeks after, I was allowed to bid for him again.

I got to sign Defoe. I bid for him after season end. The board gave me a 20M transfer kitty. I snatched Joe Cole AND Defoe from West Ham. Only thing is whereas earlier I was getting defoe for 3.5M, now I had to pay 7.2M

Selling players is sooooooooo hard in CM4. Noone EVER accepts offers and even if there's 10 clubs interested they never seem to bid even at less than the value transfer listed!

I just had to sell Becks. I wanted aroudn 25m. Transfer listed him. Everyone was bidding 11m. I finally shunted him off for 15m. I was a wee bit pissed off though.

So far i've only managed to sell one player Chadwick for 2 million.

I was managing Parma and i bid for David Prutton and those bastards wanted 78mil!!!!!! That is ridiculous for a 20 year old. But the worst thing is that straight away they sold him to arsenal for 5mil!!

I want to sell more players

As a Real Madrid manager,I made a bid for Nesta.After hard and long-term negotiations,AC Milan finally agreed to sell him-but the Board only gave me some ridiculous money for his wage.I withdrew and send scouts to watch him.Their report of course spoke of an excellent signing and,after new long negotiations with the club,my Board finally gave me enough money to offer for his wage.I wonder,was it necessary for a player like Nesta,whose value is known to everybody?
And,furthermore,I put Figo,Morientes,McMananman,Savio and Salgado on transfer list.Would you imagine?NO,yes, NO team approached to buy them,even if the asking price for them was far too low for their real value.

Rangers offered me Michael Tonge at 25 years old for 2.5m could I say no? Nope.
