Ah for ***** sake

I Load up CM, go to Restore saved game, choose 'Everton', I then click Load game. It starts loading, finshed loading database, starts loading game data, half way through that this error pops up and the game terminates:
'v3.9.65 comp_stats..cpp 6007'

Any ideas?

It could be a lack of System Memory or a corrupt file.

What is your system memory at?

Meh, it's the saved game, that's corrupt. All the other games load up, I was doing so bloody well too, top without signing nobody ****!.

i had that too. Though me with my low determination decided to give up with fixing it. lol.

However, i can tell you that i didnt really do anything that i am aware of to do it. Dont know why, it just happened.

I've had that problem quite a bit. It's usually when I play a game, save and not play for a while. Then a update patche comes out and I decide to play again and it screws up. What I usually do is put the save game somewhere in your computer temporarily(you might wanna save tactics, training, shorlists etc) then uninstall cm and install again. Then put the save game back in the right place and load it up again and see if it works, if it doesn't you might just be out of luck. If it does work, then you can go ahead and install the game updates again. This works well for me, last time I had this problem was day before yesterday when I just installed the 3.9.68 patch. I did what I said above and my old games worked just fine.

Nah, screw it, I know AOA07UK is a decent tactic, justr a fun game really, although with 8 games left, it would have been interesting if I had gone all the way. Oh well.

I had many times the same problem, before instaling patch 3.9.68 . After the patch..... no prob at all

I'll stick to 3.9.65, it's better and more consistant.

Maybe, but 3.9.68 has 2002-2003 rosters...

I have 3.9.65 and I have upto date transfers since yesterday. Just make your own updates or go to CM sorted and download their one.

hehe. You realy spend a lotta time with CM. I just don't have time to make my own updates with CM.(i'd like to but...)

i have never updated the data. I find it funny starting with data from mid 2001. lol

Totally not true, after the .67 debacle they made sure that .68 was good. I'm on that and have only ran into a few errors, all which were fatal errors in the CM0102 executable file.

John|Tiko would never listen to you, and just because some of your Dugout friends don't like .68 doesn't mean I can't like it either. It works with the newest Sorted, so there

Tiko would never listen to me for the numerous times I have slagged him off on forums for being a Jock. The fact it is not some, it is most.

Buxton, Tom, WWW, Randal, Jensen, they all use .65 or .62. Hmmm, go figure

This happens allot with peoples games on this forums, every few weeks we get someone saying something about this.

I started my game at about 1am, so 23 hours ago, then I played through until about 10am. Saved it. The PC crashed so I turned it off via the plug. That's probably why.

Well I just started up a game with Blackburn so crossed fingers eh?
