why won't my strikers score?

My problem is that i'd like my strikers to score more goals... i've seen many screenshots of players who score like maniacs, but i've never managed to get one player score that much. Last season in premier league my best scorer was my amc, Källström. My main strikers are Konstantinou and To Madeira, others being Defoe and Jonas Lunden. They tend to get high average ratings, but not as many goals as i'd like to see... I'm leading the league though, so i guess this is just my vanity or something. : )

try and get more players who assist plus get tsiglako and chuck Madeira out on his ar*e hes fake

Get Ronald Gomez, Sergey Nikiforenko and Maxim Tsiglako. Get rid of To Madiera. He's not a real life player and plus he's sh*te.

What is everyone's deal with To Madeira? I mean yeah he's not a real player, but is Gomez, Niki, and Tsigalko really that good in real life? No.

our problem is that if you have a great year with Madeira he scores 2 a match lets say thats like cheating cuz hes not real so you have a good player but whats it worth if its basically cheating?

Thanks for advice, i've already made a deal with Tsigalko but he doesn't get work permit. And i've been trying to get Nikiforenko, but he doesn't wanna leave Napoli. At the moment i have a big money offer for him, so hopefully i'll get him.

You have some great strikers there in Konstantinou and Defoe (though you should get rid of that wanker To Madiera) so perhaps your problem is lack of support getting to them. Try and sign Selakovic, Domoraud, Hadz'whatever' (ask Aiden) and possibly Semak. Also, two great players are Tsigalko and Nikiforenko as mentioned before but please note they wont come to English clubs due to work permits.

Yeah i also think that my strikers should do.. Not sure about losing To Madeira, though.. I guess i'll do that when i get some cover up front.

I already have Domoraud (no good for me, plays poorly every time i give him a chance), i've lost Selakovic and as you mentioned, i probably won't get Nikiforenko. Maybe i'll try that Hawhatsamacallhim.. But my current playmaker Kallstrom doesn't play bad at all, still.

The fault could as well be in my tactics:

i've tried plenty others, but so far this is the only one that's given me results...

If you do get Tsigalko, this may sound strange but he plays best upfront by himself
Try a good AMC partnership then put Tsigalko upfront by himself
for AMCs try Lundén, Bákircioglu and Hadzimehmedovic
These will improve attacking options

hadzimehmedovic should b a great addition 2 your team but im not sure bout kennedy bakircioglu on this game he was good on old games but not sure on thisi agree with lone tsigalko

I disagree.

Nikiforenko could score 2 a match in a great year and would that be "like" cheating? I mean one of the coolest things about CM is finding these special talents, but for whatever reason it irritates me that Madeira is viewed as Satan. I don't use Madeira ever, not because he is not a real player, but because I think he sucks. Of course, I play with the latest updates.

I had the problem of my AMC´S and DMC scoring more then my strikers....I fixed the problem by having my strikers on ¨free role¨in every tactic I use, unless you use 2, only have one on the free role and have the other feed him the ball, last time I used 2 strikers a whole season it was something like this, also try to have you AMC feed the ball as well

actually, tsigalko IS that good in real life and so is niki, but gomez, never heard of/ bought of him in cm ???

Gomez is a Costa Rican international and played quite well in the WC2002

i agree with that, of course. i just finished season 05/06 with wolves to league championship, and Konstantinou, Madeira and Kallstrom had almost an equal amount of goals.

It's just that out of the top 5 or 6 teams in the league i scored least and i think i won too many games 1-0... it's too close to a draw, and the next season i might not have so much luck.

i got Kerr on bosman, and bought that famous Gomez, so maybe i'll get more goals next season.

oh, and this sounds worth a try! what instructions do you have for these, besides free role for one of them? run with ball, long shots, through balls?

Try and make your midfield full of players with a creativity of 10+
With one or if you can find 2 attaking midfielders behind the front two with a creativity of 15+
This should help, I think that creativity is a very big part of scoring goals
