i now know it's just that I once tried to import the kit images using CM14 but it gave me an error so I couldn't import the kits that's why I'm asking.

Import the rx3 file , or if you are importing images , make sure the kit top file is of resolution 1024x1024 px and shorts image is 1024 x 512
