Wow! I'm really happy! Being mentioned or receiving entire articles with interviews as happened for the magazine "Gamer 170" last year are like medals of merit for us. It fills us with joy and makes us proud. We can say that it is also gasoline to keep moving forward. Sometimes I think it's a niche patch but when I look at the downloads and articles about it come out I understand that what the patch wants to do is perhaps what the EA should do .. They fill a gap that is rarely touched by video games. What we try to do is try to recreate the atmosphere that our fathers, uncles or cousins had when they played with Subbuteo. Cups and tournaments to be replayed, destinies to be rewritten. Once at your fingertips and results written in notebooks, now with mouse and keyboard. Because unfounded, now, in 2022 Subbuteo has been supplanted by video games.

As said at other times, the merit also belongs to those who constantly help us. We are nearly 9 years of patching and with no outside help we now had half or even less than half of the content present.

I finally figuired it out, I exported the textures using File Master and edited the textures in RX3 master swapping them out for transparent ones.

Now my next problem to solve is, When I start a tournament, it seems to default to winter but I can't change it? Is there a way of fixing this to summer?

If a tournament took place in the summer, it has summer dates (June July). same if winter .. often autumn (September, October) The dates from the CM must be changed for the whole tournament in question. I personally don't understand the problem. On the patch all the big national tournaments that took place in the summer have summer dates.

Anyway, I meant only Icons and FUT Heroes. The only stuff that is probable to happen and can interest you is Gerd Müller and Zico. But I wouldn't expect for that to happen at the same time.

given that every hero shown so far can also be found in the 'leaks' prior it's very probable at this stage that all the names posted by/around the same sources will be in the game.

which would give another 5~ or so icons and 15+ heroes. the diversity of countries for each of the heroes fits very well with the fact that it is a world cup year and we already know fifa 23 will have a separate packaged 'world cup' mode when the tournament rolls around this winter.



david villa, di stefano & robben would round the whole thing out. robben // villa should have already been icons suker replaced villa in 21 because of his legal issues and robben got put back as a player (since he unretired suddenly when he went back to fc groeningen)

I would be careful with leaks.
Honestly, if Thomas Brolin will be added to the game, Giggi will be pleased, but I'd be shocked.
Anyway, I didn't saw some of them as icons/heroes anywhere else.

I would be rather shocked when uchida will be a fut
Papin and Batistuta would be amazing

Well, the lucky thing is that sometimes the goalkeepers kits had always the same templates, with only small changes in colours, sponsors and team logos.

why would brolin somehow be eye-brow raising? the whole idea with heroes is to do players who may not be considered 'iconic' in a wider sense but who performed for club or country. they can't do zlatan (and at any rate he would be an icon) they already did henke and 'lundberg' brolin was in the team of the tournament for the 94 world cup was expected to have a great career (before the horrific ankle break) and to this day the 94 world cup is looked back upon fondly among fans of the sport.

sweden is also a fairly big country in terms of popularity for the game series, we constantly produce pros for the e-sport scene. for the heroes moniker it is either brolin or ravelli, and it is pretty clear at this point that ea prefers doing outfield players over gk whenever they can.

heroes was a huge hit for them for fut 22 so it is 100% coming back, and if anything being expanded on. if you think about it what 'iconic' players could they even do at this point without bringing out the projector and black & white 9mm films? 'heroes' gives them much more freedom to maneuver and to include players for their current userbase.

most people who buys their product want to play with players they have some sort of connection to, i have like 200+ iconic/legend players currently in my fifa22 mod file i have none in that i have not watched myself during my 40 years on this earth.

going forward i expect the icon classes to be between 4-8 (at a stretch) per year and that we will get 10-15 heroes (especially during tournament years)

In Germany, I think there was an exaggerated level of kit craziness in the 90s. Anyway, congratulations. Nice kits.

I do not despise Thomas Brolin. Far from it. But remember, we do not talk about who deserves a hero or icon card, but whom EA will actually give one.
From that standpoint, I'd be indeed suprised, if EA will think that they will add Brolin, and not, for example, Dirk Kuyt.
