Does anyone know how to correct players without shorts and heads?
Hey scouser (and everyone who has done something like this before)
how did you add those national teams to the database without this bug:
I added some national teams (lets say Albania and Cyprus).
The game crashes if one of the following things happen:
- I select one of the new teams in "edit national team squads" in the menue and try to replace a player with another player or try to submit a unchanged team (this never happens to national teams that has been in the original game neither to teams you added e.g. Panama, Costa Rica...)
- I'm managing one of those new teams in career mode and the "submit team"-day comes. Unfortunately you can't avoide those days, even not with calendar simulation.
- I'm managing any (old) team in a International Tournament with one of those new teams participating. A reason could be, that Tournaments you get shown in Career Mode are simulated on another detail level (for player statistics...) than matches in the background (e.g. other leagues), and the Simulation crashes when it comes to squad selection (by the CPU).

Apologies for another delayed reply.
It might have corrupted. CM16 and DBM16 makes a backup of the DB before saving as "fifa_ng_db.db.bak". If you rename this to "fifa_ng_db.db" then you should be able to recover your last successful save. You should backup "fifa_ng_db.db.bak" before trying this though.
Try clicking on something else on the same screen after your edit and before you save.
Run FIFA 16\data\loc\LanguageDBFix.exe.
You can do so with CM16 before you start your career.
I think this happens because the DOB is hard coded and career mode starts in 2019 in this patch instead of 2015 in the original game. You might be able to do so with Cheat Engine.
The purpose of those assignments is to determine which stadiums will use seat colours based on each team's own colour rather than the default ones. You should remove the assignments for the ones you have replaced.
Deleting a large number of players could help. Afterwards in CM16, select "tools > minimize player names table". You can also try "tools > simplify player name using country rules". I would recommend backing up your DB before trying this. The limit of the playernames table is 28999.
Inspect all starting XI and substitutes of both teams in edit player mode. The problem face(s) will crash your game.
I have not investigated it yet, but it is still on my to-do list.

You have likely exceeded a compdata limitation, try removing one or two other domestic cups. Tournaments with their structures completely within limitations will work correctly in tournament mode if limits have been exceeded.
Run FIFA 16\data\loc\LanguageDBFix.exe.

It is possibly related to the formation ID, 900 and over can cause issues.

Scouser, could you please tell me how I could create a new cup structure for the Dutch cup? At the moment I added the first, second, third and forth division with the FIP and they are working perfectly. I know how to create the cup in CM16 But some how it is not working in career mode. When I choose the cup in tournament mode it is working perfectly. I also added the Dutch first division play-offs and that one is working well
