FIFA crashing after latest update, please help! :'(

After the latest update my FIFA won't start anymore.
I deleted all the mods, reinstalled the game all night long, resetted the settings to the default ones, but the game crashes just after the start (before the choosing language option).
Download the latest video driver (I've got a NVidia GE Force GTX 1050 Ti) but it didn't help anyway.
Please help... thanks in advance!

Maybe delete fifaconfig file and after that repair the game

same here too

In the fifa setup change DIRECTX_SELECT = 0 to DIRECTX_SELECT = 1 that prompted me.

I'm sorry, it didn't work for me.
It's rather weird: it must be an issue with FIFA 20. I played with FIFA 19 and FIFA 16 and they work perfectly...

Try to repair game from origin, delete folder mod data

Strange, I'm getting the exact issue. CTD before language selection

This seems to have done the trick for me. From EA forum:

The only way to fix this is to go into your "My Documents > FIFA 20 > fifasetup.cfg", edit the DirectX Select to 1 (Switches to DirectX11)

This fix is just temporary as the value is changed back to 0 again everytime you play. Unless you'll change the file anytime before you play.
This is an issue I have with FIFA 20 only since the last update: in FIFA 19 I can play with Direct X 12 without a problem.
Btw, I switched to Windows 10 only to benefit of the DirectX 12, otherwise I could remain on Windows 7. :-/

Bullshit. If you don't want a PC with many security risks - you can't remain on windows 7 after 20th january 2020 (which is in like 2 month) so don't be afraid about Windows 10...

Also the variable never changed back for me. If I set it to 0/1 it was all the time on that value.. But today was a FIFA Update which fix a crash some people had while starting a match..maybe that helps for you guys.

an update aiming to handle this issue has been released some hours ago by EA. All is ok now.
