can't say the same. the game speed is more slower, the AI passes more, you can now intercept passes,crosses etc. for the first time in fifa history when you tackle the ball bounces back to you. the gameplay feels more tactical. but, after all, looks like fifa 19 with some improvements. i'll take it! here is the first bug:

Oh my God. Dx11 support has been dropped. And the performance with Dx12 was abysmal on Fifa 18 and 19 on my pc. I dropped to as low as 42 FPS.

The graphics look same as Fifa 19. So the performance drop is just bad optimization on their part.

LODs are still low as always.

Ball size has been reduced, again! i mean they fixed it in Fifa 19. Why did they make it small again?



Not gonna buy it if the performance issue is there in the full release.

go to my documents/fifa 20 demo/ open fifasetup.ini and change DIRECTXSELECT from 0 to 1. see if it helps you

i don't know why but my game runs fine with 0 (which should mean auto-select on direct x) but i remember i had issues with it on previous fifa.

Its only the demo! On the full game you can switch the direct x mode to 11

I hope so too.

Cause in fifa 18 and 19 demo there was option to choose dx11. So if this option is not present in fifa 20 demo, there is a chance that it might not be in the full game either.

Honestly, I don't expect massive changes between 19 and 20. And if it wasn't for wanting to play with Salford City in League 2 that were just promoted, I'd probably just stick with update mods for 19 because I finally have it playing perfectly. But I will reserve my judgement until I have had some time with the 20 demo.

More and more good news every day...
Anyhow, the game feels better, more precise passing, better players movement in the field, provided they don't screw it up until the full release.
PS: Meanwhile I have been enjoying WRC 8 in full and will do so until fifa 20. This is one of the best racing game in a very long while and I recommend it to pass time waiting for full Fifa release.
Volta....I don't know, nice gadget to play for fun a few games but not really a radical innovation, at least not at the level advertised by EA.

Ok everyone, here is my tutorial to raise that damn Broadcast camera angle in the FIFA 20 PC Demo to a lovely high height using Cheat Engine v7.0, almost matching the PES 2020 new Stadium camera...in this video I set the Broadcast cam height to 170......a bit higher than the limit of 20 in the game.....

I was as frustrated as everyone else with the gameplay of FIFA last night but i feel getting the camera this high up, in Broadcast mode, makes a huge difference and suddenly the game looks much better and seems to play much better.

It took about 8 minutes to make the changes to have the Camera that high up when producing this video, but a few extra minutes were taken up where I was typing notes to explain step by step how I was doing it...so it can take just 5 minutes once you get the jist of it all.

The video is in 4K, but I have only just uploaded it so 4K will not be an option, for viewing the video, for about an hour, as it takes time to have the higher resolution options available (its only giving 360p as an option right now as I type this, so its got a way to go before 4K is available...)

try to add these in origin games/fifa 20 demo/data/locale.ini at the end of the document and see if it works:

Hmnmm, thats not good mate, i can try to see whats happened your end. If you tried it, did you do the 4 attempts at clicking firstly on NEW SCAN and after that 3 clicks on NEXT SCAN, in between all them attempts raising or lowering the height in the game menu? What I didnt do is explain during the video what i was clicking on, I kind of relied on people watching it and knowing where I was clicking which was not always obvious I think.

I need to do a write up of the technique I think if it will help.

And to add to that, its only now, with it showing in 4K on YouTube, that my mouse clicking and the Cheat Engine parameters etc can be seen clearly, as at 1080 and below the video was blurry for viewing it properly.
