For the banners to work the material names must be banneraway and bannerhome. But as I saw in the stad_Banner_NoShadowCast group the banners are multiple and they have material name like bannergroup_01, bannergroup_02 or something like this. The ones that have the same lightmap texture can be merged until we come to two banner groups. this way we can name them banneraway and bannerhome.

@gonzaga Do you think you could add your real life blue & red coloured host city World Cup tribune adboards?

@The Wizard Do you have an idea how to enable the home & away team flags on North Tribune? I think it's taken from the team flags textures in sceneassets/flag folder. Flags for national teans always have the national flag as the first texture in the .rx3 file. If it's possible then it can be done for 2014 Maracana stadium too.

I don't know which one you have in Fifa 16. It's the Bundesliga logo moving fastly from the left to the right. Yep, I tested the wipes for the Premiere League, La Liga, CL, EL and Super Cup and the Bundesliga one is the only one that doesn't crash the game, but you can give it a try to see if Fifa 16 can handle more of them. Besides that I guess that also the podiums and media pens which are visible during the victory ceremonies could also work in older Fifa versions.
That is indeed an interesting statement. If we can lay our hands on them, we can try them out and see if they work

World Cup 2018 stadiums

Hi guys, @mita996 was able to extract, export and decompress the World Cup 2018 stadiums from FIFA 18 Switch version so all credits to him! I only packed all files and uploaded them seperate. Important: The glare files (except Luzhniki Stadium which we have thanks to FIFA Online 4) are not working in FIFA 16 but I hope @kotiara6863 will create them!

Luzhniki Stadium
Saint Petersburg Stadium
Kazan Arena
Samara Arena
Fisht Stadium
Nizhny Novgorod Stadium
Spartak Stadium
Rostov Arena
Ekaterinburg Arena
Mordovia Arena
Volgograd Arena
Kaliningrad Stadium

I don't tested the stadiums but it seems that they are working ingame. @RobbieD_PL found already some small bugs so please report if you find some more bugs.

Hey guys! I think that glare files do work. At least in Fifa 15 version (and I guess that they will also work in Fifa 16). But you have to do some changes and rename files. That's what I have done:

I will use Ekaterinburg Arena as an example (id 380):

Day glare files (both .lnx and .rx3) --> "glares_380_0", which I think that is supposed to be overcast, rainy and snowy weather glares, and "glares_380_1", related to clear weather.

- Renamed "glares_380_1" to "glares_6_1_0" --> this "6" because I have been testing as a Camp Nou replacement but you have to change this number if you are willing to replace other stadium. It will be "glares_1_1_0" if Old Trafford is to be replaced for instance.

- Opened this renamed "glares_6_1_0.lnx" file in NotePad and changed the second line:
<particleEffect name="glares_380_0">
to this
<particleEffect name="glares_6_1">
again, this "6" because of Camp Nou id.
I think that in Fifa 16 you have to change this line to <particleEffect name="glares_6_1_0">
and done. Of course, you must also rename "glares_380_1.rx3" to "glares_6_1_0.rx3"

- Renamed "glares_380_0" to "glares_6_1_1" and had perform that same change in the second line of "glares_6_1_1.lnx" renamed file (<particleEffect name="glares_380_0"> to <particleEffect name="glares_6_1">). In Fifa 16 version, I guess that it should be <particleEffect name="glares_6_1_1">.

- Copied and pasted this "glares_6_1_1" and renamed to "glares_6_1_2" and did the same process of NotePad to change that second line again.

- Another copy of "glares_6_1_1" and rename to "glares_6_1_3". Same process again...

Night glare files --> "glares_380_3" (my guess is that this one stands for clear weather) and "glares_380_4" (overcast, rainy and sonwy weather perhaps)

- renamed "glares_380_3" to "glares_6_3_0" and changed the second line of "glares_6_3_0.lnx" file:
<particleEffect name="glares_380_3">
to this
<particleEffect name="glares_6_3">
In Fifa 16 version, I think that it should be <particleEffect name="glares_6_3_0">.

- did that same previous process with "glares_380_4" files: renamed to "glares_6_3_1" and changed that second line again... (<particleEffect name="glares_380_4"> to <particleEffect name="glares_6_3">). In Fifa 16 version, I guess that it should be <particleEffect name="glares_6_3_1">.

- copied this renamed file "glares_6_3_1" and renamed as "glares_6_3_2" and same process again bla bla bla...

- same thing to create the "glares_6_3_3" files.

Done. Phew!

I will post some screenshots and you guys can check if this what you were looking for or not.

Greetings from Brazil

About the glare files: yes they are working but they are way too weak. That's the reason why @kotiara6863 is making them.

About banners: I don't tested it yet but it looks good on your screenshot.

I tested Sochi stadium & there are no banners. Maybe 15 engine picks up banners & 16 doesn't?

On some stadiums it might work. Exceptions are St. Petersburg, Ekaterinburg (I made them before I get these textures), Samara (mine is the PES model which won't fit to EA model) and Luzhniki. About the banners I already have them positioned in my FIFA 14 blender files. One or two of them need to be adjusted just a liiiitle bit. I can pack the blender files and pass them to whoever is up to add them. Along with the dressing.

Well, Sochi banners also appear in Fifa 15. Volgograd, Rostov, and Samara too. I haven't tested them all but I think that they all are going to be correctly displayed.

Ok. I think I will regenerate using iard68's tool, then see if that fixes things. BTW, the 19 Switch stadiums do show the banners in 16.

Hi guys,

after I watched the Champions League game between Tottenham and Man City I decided to try to update the new Tottenham Hotspur stadium by EA. Before you download it I recommend to read some thoughts of mine:

- First rule: If you edit EA stadiums you'll loose quality but you can determine how much quality.
- Why I did it? Because I think the version from EA is perfect except the problem with the pitch size.
- What's my aim? To recreate this stadium as close as possible to the original EA stadium.
- What's the difference to the excisting versions of this stadium? In theory it must have a higher quality because I only added a new pitch and animated adboards. The rest should be EA quality.

Important: Please give me feedback if this version is really better than the excisting ones. Like I said in thoery it must be but I didn't compare the versions yet. If yes I'll update also Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán.

DOWNLOAD

I uploaded onyl the model, you can use Kotiaras stadium as base (crowd and glare files etc.).

I just tried it at day and night and it looks great. Not easy to say if it is better really better than the previous one (kotiara) because it was already looking good. It would require comparing back and force the two versions to be 100% positive. It looks like EA quality stadium that's for sure.
I did appreciate the pitch being closer to the stands and the animated adboards.

The icing on the cake would be a proper dressing to cover those concrete parts with the Dare is to do (like in the first release by kotiara) to give even more life to it.

At first thanks for your feedback. Good to hear that it looks good but of course it's difficult to compare it to the other versions.

About the "Dare is to do" dressing. It should be easy to create a tournament dressing file for Tottenham and then it should be displayed in the stadium. For example in CL or EL also the correct dressing appear. Maybe someone wants to create it!

Hey @The Wizard can you describe what's need to be done in order to change stadium's adboards type (i.e. from static to digital)? This knowledge can help a ton, because in FIFA14 there are many EA stadiums that have legacy adboards (i.e. Wembley and Parc des Princes just to name a few).

Open EA stadiums with Blender, rework them (change textures from DDS to PNG, delete some files, reorder the layers), import animated adboards, export it. It's a lot of work.
