Hmm, is it not possible to just add new IDs to the DB for new teams?

Hmm, is it not possible to just add new IDs to the DB for new teams?
No, nothing new can be added, you can only replace existing.
That goes for all graphics and teams/leagues.
You can add players but you cannot add any graphics to the player.
I have created LA FC by replacing HJK Helsinki and fixed the MLS scheduling/playoff format issue for myself.
This is an example of what you can do.
You can also have 2 installs or mod setups for the game, one for club and one for country.

Is there any chance in future to add graphics? Or it's impossible?
I can add him to whatever team I want.
As of right now it is impossible.
I don't think that is what he is waiting for.

Thank you for answering mate. Do you know what Shawminator is waiting for release mate?
It is beyond Frosty's capabilities, it is his explorer, CM and DBM in one tool.
It has a patch creation/import function and doesn't require the tool to launch the mod(s).
You can have as many mods as you want and switching between them is simple.
The tool also gives you access to files Frosty Tool does not.
I am not 100% sure why he is waiting to release, his tool, his time, his efforts and I will not question his reasoning.
Most likely a community issue, lack of patience, respect and stupidity of and from community surely has a part in it.
I have been using and testing the tool and it is very functional with no major bugs to be worked out.

It is certainly good news to know that the tool does exist and seems to be functional. I have tried numerous times to edit Fifa 18 via Frosty and other tools, but I have not been very successful at it, at least not with everything. This tool would certainly be a help in editing the things that I would like to have in my game. Anxiously awaiting its release and would certainly be willing to test it out if there is the need. Thanks.

Hey, Just to give you guys a wee update on the prgress.
the tool looks to be complete from the feedback from my testers and most bugs have been sorted(cant say for 100% as 3-4 people cant fully test everyfile, so you may find one which is new)
as for releasing the tool i am very short on free time at the moment,
uploading the setup.exe is not a biggy but its creating the documentaion to go with it i dont have time for, dealing with bug reports and/or helping people out with how to use it.
regularcat has hit the nail on the head with hsi explanation of what the tool can, i dont want people to expect a 100% moddable game, yes u can replace any file in the game, but adding new files like textures we cannot.
what i will say first is that this tool requires a few things, one it must be ran as admin, regardless if you are admin or not. if it is not ran with the admin elevation the tool will stop and tell you. but this happens as soon as you open the tool so it wont waste anybodys time.
secondly, your Fifa18 folder(or the full origin Games folder) owner must be set to either your account anme or Administrator.
to check this(Win10 as i dont have anything else) highlight the fifa18 folder, click the share tab the advanced security.
the Name shows the directory, in my version the Owner was trustedinstaller, i changed that to Administrator.
this is needed due to the type of dynamic links the tool creates when wrtiting a mod folder.
i hope this lets everybody know that the tool hasnt been shelved and is ready for release only thing holding it back is free time.

Wow, it is great to know the progress of the tool. Thank you so much for your valued time, Shawminator. The function of the tool is great already, we can replacing 3d file is a big step. I wish i have some knowledge about software so I can give you a hand about the problem. Maybe someone can do these things for you or you just need to relasese the file. sorry should have maybe made it a bit more clear, replacing 3d files is not possible atm, the structure has completly changed from fifa16 so editing models is still some way off
Thanks for the info Shawminator. We truly appreciate the hard work. Looking forward to giving the tool a shot, regardless if 3d files or new textures could be added. It certainly looks as though other aspects of modding Fifa 18 would be easier with your tool than what is currently available. Again, thanks.

Is there any chance of replacing 3d models in future? Or does the game completely rejects replacements of any 3d model?
Frosty's developer said it is possible, but its not his priority

May i ask that does this mean we cant replace the exiting 3d head in game to other player. For example: i want to export zidane 3d head and texture and replace to the existing player to play him as a player?
