I will record a video of this superhuman CPU defending. I just had a game where a defender literally teleported and took the ball from my feet.

Really sorry to hear that. Do you think there is a difference between our versions of game? I have heard stories where this happens. Nothing ever surprises me with FIFA

I still appreciate your effort man. I just want a good realistic game but there seems to be a lot of engine issue that cannot be fix. I had couple matches and they were perfect. And then suddenly, I get that one match where defenders are great wall of China. I have the latest version of the game. Should I downgrade it? Also, this issue doesn't happen on Professional difficulty. Thanks as always and I love your other aspect of the patch.

also does badtackle increase error in tackles? also to what number can it be set? on reddit some guy set it to 5 but i didnt notice any changes in gameplay.

Is there a way to make the dribbling as responsive as FIFA 16? That might help to evade teleported tackles and shielding.

Firstly I love your gameplay ini, it saved FIFA18 for me as I was about to give up on its ruined patched up gameplay. I was loving your original version but the patch 1.03 released on 27th October has made your locale ineffective for some reason.
Is it because if you edit this file you need to use EA's latest version? That is, the latest one after an update? I read the comments above about magnetic defenders and impossible defenders to pass and I saw that this happened with my game after yesterday's patch using your first locale.ini (which was the one I loved the most).

I do yes but I think my above post could be a fix, that is to use the latest version default locale.ini and edit it from fresh. Their feet are like giant magnets it looks stupid (latest patch 1.03 I refer to). Paul's work is excellent, no criticism of his editing. His default was excellent but i am now worried that it isn't compatible with 1.03.

the latest patch has overwritten the local.ini, so maybe try downloading it again and copying it in again
No I did that already. I was do a fresh install with each origin or ea update bcoz it doesn't play the same. I then used again Paul's original locale.ini but it just wasn't the same. It is as if the new patch has bastardized paul's work.
That is why I suggested that maybe you need to use the latest EA locale.ini and edit that instead of using an old edited ini.

That sounds plausible. I will try to downgrade it again. I really hate these magnetic tackles and hopefully it gets rid of it. Thanks!

Every patch update, I make a back up copy of the origin files. And then turn it into offline mode.

Actually it was half solved. Paul's 23/9 default ini still works but of course not in the same way due to last week's patch.
I suggest you try fresh installments of both origin and FIFA18 everytime there is an update on either the platform or the game. For some reason the physics are blown of course if you continue to play the current installment once the new patch/update in complete.
