I don't know but it seems our forwards are cursed. Morata was decent but we let him go and failed to replace him.
Mayoral isn't a good replacement.

You need to think about signing a blockbuster number 9. If Lewandowski situation continues to deteriorate at Bayern then he may be your man.

Well the thing with Morata was that he obviously loves Madrid and wanted to stay. But another thing he also wanted was to start/more playing time, which Zidane couldn't guarantee him. Although they really could've used him in the beginning of this season. So that's why he left.

All other who were sold, were basically deadwood for the team.

Is Lewandowski worth it right now? He's nearing 30 and would probably still cost you guys. The team should have kept Morata.

Keeping Morata was impossible. He was unhappy at Real Madrid because of lack of playing time.

They probably should've kept Mariano Diaz instead, who went to Lyon. As a back-up, considering that Borja Mayoral is not that impressive.

But he too was unhappy with his playing time.

I'd choose Morata over Benzema any day. Zidane should've given that playing time. But I can't blame him since somehow Benzema has been of great service to Madrid.

Real lost again? With the depth Real has, how are they losing? Can anyone enlighten me? I don't watch too many Real Madrid games because reasons.

Well, Girona played their hearts out and were geniuenly a better team that night, but Cristiano seems to be out of form at the moment. Modrić and Kroos aren't looking at their usual best either. And they've had a lot of injuries this season. From what I understand Zidane has already tried out like ~10+ different systems with different players. Bale is yet again injured. Something tells me that it's gonna be his last season at RM if things continue like this.

Against Girona Zidane made some bizarre changes too. Like in the end they had no proper full-backs on the field. And Lucas Vazquez had a really shoddy performance after being brought on.

Some of the Real Madrid fans are saying that last season one of their key things was having players like Morata & James on the bench, who could make a real difference coming on from the bench. Now they have players with less experience.

This season players like Theo Hernandez, Dani Ceballos and some say even Asensio seem to play like they aren't completely ready for the first team yet, still. And Kovacic has gone missing too this season.

Benzema was injured for quite some time too.. So it's basically all those things added together.

If their individuals aren't performing either like now (Cristiano, Modrić etc), then the team is looking quite weak actually.

Isco seems to be one of the only players making things happen, but sometimes he takes it tad too far by trying accomplish too much on his own.

I'm literally so frustrated with Real right now. I mean come on losing against SPURS??!!
It's an embarrassment.
