SG Draft Voting Stage

Ok everyone,

Still lots of problems I know but we are going to try to keep the draft alive.

Firstly, let me explain the format of the voting stage - read carefully, as there are some changes from previous years.

First there will be FOUR GROUPS of FOUR TEAMS, all drawn at random.

Teams that finish first will go automatically through to quarter finals. Teams which finish second and third will go to quarter final playoffs to - these playoffs will be SEEDED so that second placed teams play third placed teams.

The Quarter Finals WILL NOT be seeded, so two first placed teams could play each other, as can team which were in the same group.

Each member can vote for TWO teams in each group - there will be NO TIEBREAKER VOTES. If teams are tied for second and third place, there will be a coin toss, but if teams are tied for the all important first and second place divide, or third and fourth place divide, there will be a DIRECT PLAYOFF.

EVERYONE CAN VOTE, including non draft players, though members who are obviously just signed up to vote will be discounted and may be investigated leading to disqualification.

TRY TO VOTE ON THE FORUMS, HOWEVER IF YOU CAN'T YOU MAY VOTE ONLY BY SENDING ME A FACEBOOK MESSAGE WITH YOUR VOTES. No votes posted anywhere else will be accepted, once votes have been PMed to me they cannot be changed, even if you later come to the thread and vote differently the original ones will stand. If you vote for any more or less than two teams your vote will be discounted and you CANNOT vote again.

Let me know here or on facebook if there is anything you dont understand. All key posts will also be replicated on the facebook group, including this one. PM me if you want to join, you dont have to be a draft member.

PLEASE NOW POST YOUR TEAM NAME HERE OR ON FACEBOOK, BUT NOT YOUR FORMATION. ONCE IHAVE ALL THE TEAM NAMES, I WILL DO THE DRAW AND THEN YOU CAN GIVE ME YOUR FORMATION

Perfect timing! Just as the season gets started.

Here is the draw for the draft groups, it was done by putting all the names in a list randomizer and then randomized and the first four, second four, third four and fourth four are each a group

Now you know who you are up against, please PM me your formation and we will start when I have them all. In your PM, remind me your teamname, from now on I will use Team Names only (not usernames) to try to reduce personal bias.

Reread the voting stage rules in the first post of this thread, remember, winners go through automatically and second and third placed teams go into playoffs, fourth placed teams are out.

thus far I have received only four teams, please note that if I don't receive them all by Friday then the draft will be delayed another 10 days or more as I will be in rural Africa

Sir_Didier_Drogba, you really should use the forum upload image function rather than embedding with the IMG tag.

Hosting locally is always going to be more reliable than an external host.

Yes you do - you just haven't looked and are being difficult and stubborn.
It's exactly the same as adding an image to an email. You hit the "UPLOAD" button when you're typing the body of the post.

If you're on a computer, you can even just copy and paste the image itself into the body.
