Just wanted to say that Portugal reaching these semis is majorly thanks to Pepe's performances, he got his beast mode on for this Cup. Unreal how he wasn't even born here and plays with such passion for us. MVP!

It is so hard for Ronaldo though he plays in a team that doesn't give him any space. Opponents have the time to cover him with 2 players all the time. It means the other players get more space though.

Ronaldo has had a very good tournament from a leadership point of view, unquestionably. From the head start. Rest of the team looked suspect and he has had poor moments but still keeps going at it which you have to admire.

He is good in that he distracts people from the rest of his team

Portugal has better players than Wales, but Bale isn't having the same issues that Ronaldo has had since 2004. Maybe it's because Ronaldo is a selfish player who can only work in a great side that tolerates him while Bale is a true team player.

Bale's game is just epic, he was everywhere doing everything. he is on his way to became a total player.
