Football Leaks

This is pretty interesting, someone in Portugal is leaking documents from football clubs to shed some light on dodgy financial dealings. The article focuses on third party ownership, specifically Twente's (ridiculous) deal with a company called Doyen where Doyen got paid even if Twente rejected offers for the players Doyen had an interest in.

The story also involves Sporting, and of course, Sporting being Sporting...

Bruno de Carvalho, the president of Sporting, denounced Football Leaks in an interview with Expresso ... He also suggested Football Leaks was acting on behalf of Sporting’s archrival, Benfica, describing it as “a tremendous coincidence” that the website had published only what he considered to be irrelevant information about Benfica’s business dealings.

Anyway, read the story. There's some interesting stuff in there.

Oh yeah that was sort of a big deal but they didn't exactly publish anything earth shattering, just some confidential info about contracts and stuff. Bruno de Carvalho is a fucking joke though, so anything that involves him is always hilarious.

He comes off as amazingly paranoid from that article.

There was nothing earth shattering, you're right. I suspect one or two clubs are nervous as hell though.
