I think it's the formation. Open the database with CM14 and switch to a generic formation, rather than specific.

For rest users.
About gameplay. You can try Fidel's gameplay. Link. Download his tool and use his cl.ini. Also check his game setting. The last one was 1.6. But you need change //USE_FIFA14_RUN_CURVES=0 to 1. Try and experiment by yourself.
You need only cl.ini. Rest rna (if it contains gameplay codes) or atribdb and simmilar files should be deleted.
