Still testing it. I'm in fourth season in CM mode. You made the game enjoyable to me. Never played four season in a row since fifa 2012.
Anyway now it seems to me that cpu has decided to override your gameplay. Every game is faster and quicker than before.
Adaptive difficulty? Is it possible? Or am I going to get crazy?

i am not sure if that has to do with adaptive difficulty or not.

you can add those lines of code to my file and set them all to 0 and see
if it reverts back to my settings or not.

EA makes a poor gameplay from start only catering to the FUT players who
love pace abuse and every year it gets harder and harder to edit the AI.

Very true. Money is all they care about and they know that FUT is their Carlos*pot. In an ideal world, we would have been able to take a stand and unanimously decide to not buy the game until they brought out a true simulation, but most people won't agree to do so in the real world. And EA know it, that's why they won't bother bringing about the changes. Because they're still the best game out there. It's all about competition. All these "changes" could have been brought about by EA years ago, but they didn't need to because PES was not up to scratch anyway. When PES caught up, EA introduce the new engine to edge PES and maintain their monopoly on the market.

Wishful thinking maybe, but I hope it changes soon. I haven't bought the game in a long time now, and I probably won't until the game is revolutionised in terms of the gameplay at least.

i will not support them next year and this may as well be my last year
attempting to work on this game.

i have always chose FIFA because it was always the better of the two games.

i spend too much of my leisure time trying to perfect this game always
coming up short of my expectations.

This happens all the time. It is why modding AI through the cl.ini is so frustrating. You think you have it right, lots of long shots and fouls yay!!! You play the next game and you have 0 fouls and clueless AI.

It is all down to the bullcrap feature they brought in a few years ago "no game is the same", in other words there's a huge randomizer that runs which destroys all player attributes and AI thinking.

Adaptive Difficulty (and difficulty in general) also changes a lot of the attributes.

So it is very hard to nail down.

You focused the point. There is something totally random into this game!! I don't know if I'm talking about adaptive difficulty or players attributes. But you can feel a completely different kind of game when you plays though CM seasons. And it makes me crazy.

Hurry up regularcat ;-) just kidding. I purchased PES for the 1st time and playing that until regularcat releases his cl.ini.

Just can't stand FIFA anymore I have a career mode where all the players are regens ranked 80 or above in league 2 and struggle to win games (yes a know it's "cheating").

I like the FIFA interface and career mode better but the game play is decent in PES (not trying to start a war). I struggle to bet teams in PES but it feels like because I'm a bad player not aids as there seems to be in FIFA

I really wonder what is wrong with EA (or any company these days). If people are doing great work like regularcat et al why wouldn't you talk to them? To me it has to be arrogance if I was making a product could be anything and heaps of people was saying someone has made it better I would employ them.

Anyway back on topic I'm I able to test it regularcat?

Since the initial post (coming soon ...) it's been more than a month, so I think it's good to at least have information on how things are progressing or at least approximately when the expected file?
