One-hundred dollars?! For a face? If you watched some tutorials and had a bit of patience, you would save 100$. For starters, skip using facegen and keep to blender and .rx3 files for making your models. I can help you if you wish, but the tutorial on the front of this thread really covers everything. Just PM me if you are stuck and I can help because paying 100$ for an hour of someone's time, when it just as easily done by yourself with some practice, is ridiculous.

Thanks so much for the offer to help... I know it's silly to offer to pay, but I have been pulling my hair out in frustration! The issue I am having with the tutorials is that they seem to assume that the viewer has a good understanding of how to use blender... I can't keep up. It's just a bunch of clicks and an occasional pop-up, which is not to say that I'm not grateful for them.

Anyway, I have managed to create a model from the supplied base head model, my .obj eyes and head files. The next step in the tutorial is to open a background picture and sculpt the model to the proportions of the JPEG I used to create my face... I cannot seem to adjust the model without deforming vertices I did not intend to. I will take a screenshot of what I mean and get back to you.

Thanks again for the generous offer to help!

If you find that the tutorial is fast, you can lower the playing speed to suit your pace in youtube

I just sent a PM to you. How shall I go about sending you the pictures? They exceed the attachment size limit on the forum.

Thanks so much for the offer, and - as I wrote in the PM - I am more than happy to compensate you accordingly.

Thanks again,

Carson

You said the face becomes deformed? Did you enable proportional editing? Keep sticking at it and PM me if your stuck with anything else.

Along the same veins as the poster who was willing to pay, I'm willing to paypal somebody $20 JUST TO export the .objs of my faces with the proper vertex modes because I can't seem to get the proper lighting on my faces no matter what I do, any takers?

Mate, why don't you just stop using fucking Facegen, the program is a load of shit...

Use EA models, either generic or specific ;)

You will improve drastically and your faces will look much better In Game as a result :)

Take this advice, otherwise u will just be losing $20, there is no point because 'Feces'gen will never look good In Game and will have wave after wave of problems :(

Mate, I'm familiar with the method you describe because that's how we did it back in the early days of editing, however, are most face makers still doing that?

I was under the impression that most people are using face-gen and blender to create faces, I've tried using generic/existing heads and it simply isn't accurate enough, in some cases it is.

Nobody uses facegen here anymore because the results tend to look bbad ingame unless you put in some huge effort to make the model look similar, such that even if there is no texture applied to the model, it should still look exactly like the player. The last good facegen face that i saw for fifa15 was AmaroWaade's Alberto Moreno.

Anyway, I would also recommend using exisiting EA models and editing them accordingly. Depending on your skill and experience, they will look good accordingly.

Oh word, I didn't know that. Do most people take the existing EA model and re-sculpt it or just swap the texture?

Sculpt of course. Swapping textures won't give good results.

Hi!

I want to apply a FIFA 15 face in the FIFA 14, with the Creation Master 15.

I exported the files from FIFA 15, and imported to the FIFA 14.
Almost perfect, just...
It works just without the hair model. If the hair, hairlod models are imported, the game crashes. It crashes when the player appears on the screen, so in match, or in the practice arena with him, but without hair it works. don't understand.

I hope you can help.

they are vertices, (singular: vertex). Right click on the vertex you want to move to select that particular vertex. :)
