No but seriously, he resigned because they're selling Vidal?

No reason stated, other than guessing something from what Agnelli's wife said:

Why does his wife tweet in English?

And yeah, I can't possibly believe that he just "needs a break" from managing. It has to be Vidal or Pogba.

Forza Suarez! (ps brotha can you spare a dime?)
Conte better have left to coach the Azzurri.

Otherwise he's a primadonna. He was bitching at the end of last season about not getting the players he wants and was constantly sending mixed signals about his contract renewal. It's clear he was disenchanted and unmotivated then, why do you renew your contract for a season only to fuck us in mid-July? Obviously something took him over the edge but that means he was already at the tipping point and that could not have bode well for our upcoming season.

This shit never used to happen with Moggi, btw. Moggi understood a player's and manger's motivations better than anyone and would always shake-up a team to keep them at the peak of motivation, even if it meant letting go of the best. Teams need to be refreshed every once in a while, even winning teams. After Conte's little outburst in the media last May, you think Moggi renews his contract? No way.

Anyways, Good luck Antonio and Thank You for the hard work.

Conte didn't renew during last season or in May, he already had a contract until 2015 and they decided to keep him to it at the time.

I think Moggi would have set Conte straight a long time ago or definitely kicked him to the kerb(curb?). He's been making waves for over a season now

Yeah, I think Conte felt the team needed a drastic overhaul but Agnelli/Marotta/management didn't want to so soon after 2010-2011. I think of this squad only Buffon and Marchisio were at Juve pre-2010.

It is a pretty tactically stagnant squad (blame Conte or Beppe or both) who can't really play more than one way

Yep, you're right, my bad.

Three years of winning does strange things to people. Specifically it can make you entitled and think you can dictate a team's finances while having close to zero business acumen. You mad because we have to sell Vidal to sustain ourselves? Well, that's what happens when you miss out on the knockout stages of the Champion's League.
