Adam and Downing were the typical all-in risk that wound blowing heavily in your faces. Like I said at the time, the transfers made sense because they were both geared towards making the most out of Carroll. Downing to get the crosses in, Adam to get the ball to Downing. But you should have cut your losses and focused on Suarez earlier. Hindsight, though.

Sneaky manouvre to knock 25m off his price?
Last time Suarez bit Ivanovic, then scored, then got banned for matches against our opponents but not against us. This time it's the same thing only at least he didn't bite any of our players. I think Chiellini and the Italian Nt and actually everyone in football should get a restraining order against him.
