I hope this summer doesn't produce any more Suarez transfer speculation stories... Last summer was horrible enough..
So Lambert signed, and then celebrated with a goal in a friendly, don't expect him to start too many games but could prove useful of the bench and when Sturridge or Suarez are resting.

not to bothered about those tbh mate, critical mistake at a crucial time yes, but Gerrard was reportedly playing with an injury in the last few games so can't bother him too much with that slip.. He gave every inch of himself..
Can't single this slip as the moment that lost the title though... Could just as well blame Kolo for the weird pass he made that gave WBA an equalizing goal, the losses against Hull and Southampton, draws against Swansea, Palace and Newcastle...

really wish we'd have made an offer to Hyypia before he took the Brighton gig, because although I'm sure he's looking to manage a club, I think he'd take a job at Liverpool... he'd be a great asset to help the defense get back to where they used to be.

Alberto Moreno is an attacking LB indeed. I believe it's a pretty good signing for them. He's talented, young and has a great future ahead of him. Probably suits Rodgers' playing style as well.
They've got Flanagan who looks raw but is OK, not really a top left back, though. Haven't heard anything about José Enrique for a while, he spent the last season injured, is he in Liverpool's future plans?
Now what puzzles me is that is your target Lallana that good? Liverpool offered 25 million pounds for him right? I gotta admit i haven't really seen much of him. Or have you stopped pursuing him? How do Liverpool fans feel about signing the guy? He's English and obviously overpriced, last i heard Southampton were holding out for 30m. You guys need more depth for the next season obviously, because of the Champions League and all, so that's understandable. Is he worth it?

don't know too much about him to be honest, Southampton is holding out for a bigger transfer because apparently they owe a percentage to another club, Bournemouth I think, and they want to get at least 20m or so for themselves..
think José is in our plans yes.. he's been injured for a while, so not sure what his state is at the moment..

Yeah that's what i've been thinking. But at least the guy has proven himself for the Saints and in the EPL.
Nowadays the player prices are so high, and i can't think of any other players who'd be available for cheap who'd fit the mold of your club. It's just that you've had some bad experience signing English players for a lot of money. Carroll and Downing spring to mind, but that's history, while Henderson has finally become quite good, thanks to Rodgers mostly. If the guy really sees that he's worth the amount (i don't, but i'm not really in the position to comment, since like i said, i haven't seen much of him), but if Rodgers sees him as a player who'd be a good addition to your squad, then why not. But still a bit too pricey.

I like seeing that the club is active rather soon this time around... want us to have a complete squad when the new season starts, not scrambling for change a few days before the window closes

Yeah that's good i guess. Getting some signings done before the World Cup i mean. So far you've gotten Lambert, Emre Can (again a player that i don't know anything about) and Moreno, which is not 100% yet i believe. But not bad nevertheless. For squad depth which you desperately need.
But i believe you need a marquee signing and i'm not convinced if Lallana is the guy, especially for that price, time will tell. I'm eager to see how he'll do at the World Cup, if he'll be a starter of course. Anyway it's just the beginning of June so there's plenty of time.
