Conte needs to do something about these second half drop-offs, even (or most of the time) with the lead. It's like watching a different team in the second half the last couple of weeks. There's no offensive fire or initiative left whatsoever. Bound to go wrong at some point.

It's almost as if we are trying to conserve energy, but every time we have a chance to use that conserved energy we come up with nothing

Hard game vs a tough tough Genoa side, but two priceless moments by our campioni del mondo: Gigi penalty save and Pirlo curling a free-kick in the top corner. F*cking love it, I was excited as Conte at the end of the match. (H) Too bad Pogba and Osvaldo were robbed of that beauty of a legit goal. Pogba's assist and Osvaldo's flick finish were perfect.

Forza Suarez! (ps brotha can you spare a dime?)
62nd minute and still 0-0 and Fiorentina are playing better. We're as good as eliminated.

It's been a shit game from us, Pirlo's free kick notwithstanding. Against a weaker 11 we looked like crap. I don't ever want to see Isla in a Juventus shirt ever again.

Rocky IMO Juventus never really looked like losing, Fiorentina could have pulled the draw but they seemed to lack that extra gear and Juve controlled the game, eventually getting the goal and effectively putting it to sleep.

Immobile just surpassed Tevez as this season's Serie A top goalscorer. I'm thinking we should keep him this summer, unless the rumors that Dortmund are ready to pay big bucks for him are true. In that case, sell his ass and use the funds to keep guys like Vidal and Pogba at the club.

I agree, Vucinic is 100% out (he's already packed his bags and cleared his locker the poor guy), Quag is probably 90% out, the fans hate Giovinco, and Marrotta will try to get Osvaldo on a bargain which puts his position a maybe.

I wouldn't mind having, Tevez, Llorente, Osvaldo, Immobile + Gio if we're gonna stick with 2 at the front, but if we went with 3 I'd like to see both Berardi and Gabbiadini return as wide players, with Vuc, Quag, Immobile, Boakye and maybe Zaza raising funds for an out and out winger like Nani

So, Benfica.

I think both spanish teams are a bit more manageable than Benfica if we make it to the finals so I'm kinda glad we get to play them in the semis. Should be a good match.

Yeah, it's an exciting draw. Considering Juve's current form I think it will be very difficult to get past Benfica, but I think Juve are still considered favorites. Juve somehow needs to regain their early season form to win this cup, it's going to be a challenge.
